Chiesa Ignano is about as close to accommodation paradise as you are likely to find. It is a near 1000 year old church, bombed in WW2 as part of the fascinating history of the valley, and lovingly restored by the family that owns it after their purchase in the 60s. The land surrounding the accommodation is free to roam, with fruit and olive trees, one thousand roses and the family pets on hand to show you their favourite spots.
Myself and 4 friends were made very welcome by the host Gabriele, who went far above and beyond what he needed to do to make us welcome, even offering a lift to the village shop and helping us order from the butchers.
I can't speak highly enough of this place. It is a gem and should be treated with utmost respect when visiting. Go here, relax, and let Mia the dog take you hiking. You will have an incredible time

The room was beautiful, however we didn't know that the restaurant near by was closed on that particular day. Since the restaurant belongs to the owners of the accommodation it would have been nice to be informed about that, we had to go by bike to the next town after having cycled 120 km that day to get something to eat

The staff were exceptional- could not fault them- super friendly and efficient. I ordered drinks, they helped me take them to our rooms. We ate dinner there- we ate in the dining hall at the back of the building - food was excellent (had pizza, pasta and a meat platter, which the three of us shared. Had breakfast in the breakfast room - was good.

A most welcome stop on route The Via Degli Dei . We had an amazing room with beautiful views and a jacuzzi . The staff served us dinner in our room . It was wonderful .

The view from the balcony and the location was amazing!
Unusual and unique spot. The couple running the hotel and the restaurant were little gems. Still a work in progress but genuine friendly folk and a proper olde worlde tower.
We ate in the restaurant and our meal was excellent.
Roadworks made access from the A1 a challenge.
