A short way from the centre and the beach that made my stay quiet but accessible. The owner was very helpful and had time to spend with guests. Nothing was too much. The rooms and open areas were immaculate and clean. All towels, tv remote etc were sealed in plastic. Very impressed with attention to details. Fantastic crudo restaurant nearby. Amazing ravioli fungi.

We loved The Borgo San Rocco and haven't stopped talking about it! Everything from the crazy drive up the mountain to the building, the views and the wonderful staff Francesca, Sandra, Frederico and of course the wonderful Vittorio who adds his own personal stamp to every visitors experience. The hotel is excellent and though are stay was brief it was extremely pleasant. The staff were incredinly helpfull and accommodating. We booked the suite that had sea views and a very sizeable terrace. True value for money.

For us it was a good base to travel around (north)east of Sicily by car. It is close to Taormina, Savoca, Castelmola, Messina, Etna and Catania.
Nizza itself seems quite calm (for Sicilian standards). The beaches are stony, there are some restaurants and shops.
