We liked that there was free and easy parking provided. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was also very easy to find.

- Spacious and comfortable room, though would have preferred higher floor for better view of the lake.
- The resort had many comfortable and private areas for sitting and relaxing, including a fireplace, music room, complimentary coffee and juices. The foot spa was amazing.
- The onsen was posh and private. Love the little outdoor pool.
- dinner and breakfast had good spreads

Beautiful location and kind hosts. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but the location is beautiful, so it didn't bother me, and they offer to give you a ride to and from the station when you check-in/out if you need it. I was only able to stay one night when I was there, but would definetly try to stay for longer next time I'm in the area.

The best thing in Abashiri was the famous yakiniku.
The best thing in Abashiri was the famous yakiniku. It was indeed a great value for money if you love to eat wagyu beef. Other than that, the town is very small and boring. When we were there in late January, there was no drift ice. You could still take the cruise which runs about 45 minutes, but without drift ice. We also tried some local delicacies, such as cured salmon and cured mackerel.
Well...what can I say? This farm house is one of a kind. Beautiful. Beautiful in and out of the house. I slept in the second floor dormitory hall with two Japanese couples and it was very clean and the common area was spacious. All the small figures are cute and beautiful. Electrical outlets everywhere. The landlady was so kind. The kitchen area is beautiful. Big bathroom with big bathtub. And the surroundings. The scenery was out of the description. Don't miss this beautiful farmhouse if you visit Abashiri.
The location was about 20 min drive to main Abashiri city, a bit secluded but very nice resort.
Breakfast selection was ample with traditional Japanese hot pot, sashimi and sushi, with alternative western menu too.
Loved the laid-back vibe and resort like of the entire facility. Value for money with the ryokan stay along with breakfast and dinner included! It a nice retreat away in Abashiri, away from the main touristy areas of Biei and Furano.
Very conveniently located exactly opposite the station. Rooms are clean and good size, necessary amenities are available in the bathroom, bed is comfortable, breakfast is good. Staff is helpful. There is a microwave in the lobby to heat up your food. This hotel is value for money. They do store your baggage if you are earlier than their check in time or you want to store your baggage a few hours after check out. i had a great experience staying here.
Wonderful place and wonderful people! It really surprised me and makes me feel like I’m home. The couple was very kind and offered to drive me to the station, which really helped me a lot. There is also a fireplace in the living room in the evenings, and sitting in the shared room and talking together was one of the happiest times I had in Hokkaido. Thank you for being so nice to me. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights.☺️
I do have to say the staff were what actually saved this hotel for me. They were so incredibly friendly I was baffled. They even drove me to abashiri prison when I was waiting for the bus, and were just really warm and welcoming. The room itself was really spacious too, and people here say it wasn't clean, which I did not really notice to be honest, though it was not like squeaky clean maybe.
Clean, convenient, new. The hotel pays a lot of attention on small things that wow the guests: free ice cream/ Yakult after onsen, free to go coffee at lobby etc, it’s really small yet attention to details service that totally adds value to our stay. The breakfast was superb! Better than the onsen ryokan we stayed the night before which we paid a triple.
It's on a great location, very near to bus terminal, and in between train station and drift ice station
walkable if you are a bit adventurous
the hotel doesn't have onsen, but they provided with bath salt which is very nice touch
This very popular hotel comes complete with an onsen experience which we did not use due to our short stay. Check in was efficient and professional. The dinner recommendation was spot on for our request. Very nice stay.
Pleasant and comfy stay
Staff were friendly
However staff cannot speak English so if you left something at the hotel after checkout, trying to contact them was a challenge. Overall, it was a good stay.
The convenient location really sells it.
Unluckily encountered a snowstorm. All itenary has to put on hold, stayed in the hotel for the entire day. Wifi able to cope for whole day usage. Thank god
Meals were very good. I also got stuck in Abashiri for one extra night because of a snowstorm and the staff was incredibly kind and generous. Very, very helpful. Thank you so much for everything! :)
Everything was well prepared, and the value is much better than some hotel stays. And, the owner is very nice and took care of me well. Definitely worth while visiting again.
It was very cozy and bed were comfortable. We like the atmosphere of the place. A good place for a few days stay in Abashiri, within 10 mins drive of attractions.
