On the Mekong resort was so beautiful, sat at the side of the mekong watching the sunset was magical. The resort is authentically recreated to give a real village feel. Breakfast was lovely as we're the rooms (we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite FOC). There was a free shuttle to take us into town from 8am until 8pm but by far and away the best thing about the property was the staff who were so nice, from the girls at the front, Moe, Née & India to Grace in the kitchen. In fact all of the staff were absolutely beautiful people. Henry the owner was unbelievable, such a warm friendly guy. What we really loved was the ethics behind the property, its construction and the employment of the staff. Hotels occasionally say they want you to feel at home, well at On the Mekong you really did and the staff felt like family. A beautiful, beautiful experience and we will be 100 percent be returning.

Our room had a wonderful view of the Mekong and it was very restful (as distinct from ‘relaxful’ 😂 The shuttle service was on demand and this made up for the location which is a bit outside LP. The staff were friendly.

We stayed here at the end of October and there were very few guests. Amazing, clean accommodation with incredible views to the surrounding mountains. In a quiet part of the city, but still relatively close to the centre. Kind and polite staff, incredible value for the money we paid. High-quality and tasty food at the hotel restaurant and a well-equipped cosy room with a comfortable bed and cute balcony. Well-kept garden and a pool with beautiful views on the city and mountains.

Very very beautiful, calm and clean space! we loved it a lot to be there. the hosts are a couple of chefs, preparing amazing food and serving nice french wines. there were 4 super lovely dogs around and 300 meters away the entrance to the most beautiful park we found in laos. we extended our stay in naga lodge and went to the park for swimming several times.
