The town of Perast over the past several years has become like a hotel, analogous to Sveti Stefan - looking beautiful and functioning great for tourists. Perast is very small, one can walk all along it within twenty minutes, and that explains, but does not justify the absence of any pharmacy in the town, which is my only complaint.

Picturesque old town with a nice beach front walk.
Picturesque old town with a nice beach front walk. All restaurants are expensive tourist traps with expensive lousy food. Parking is a nightmare. It is worth a 30 minute visit to walk along the beach front (make sure you are not hungry)

We had 3 weeks in Montenegro and spent the last 3 nights in Perast. We could have had another 2-3 days here to be fair. It is much calmer than Kotor and even though it is much smaller we enjoyed Perast better as a city. It is not so crowded and we enjoyed walking from Perast to Risan where we had lunch and then on the way back we stopped for a swim. We had lunch at an amazing oyster farm (the first one on your right as you walk back from Risan - search for "Mussles and Oysters farm with Restaurant" on Google). They were fully booked but still gave us a table and we had one of the best lunches!
We also spent a day swimming, there are several small "concrete piers" that you can swim from, good for both adults and children, but remember to have shoes to swim with, lots of mussels and rocks at some spots.
I also have to recommend a restaurant called “Underwater wine cellar Kraken Kotor”. A small independent restaurant, floating just outside of Perast on the way towards Kotor. We had a swim straight “of” the restaurant, good food and wine. It is an experience you will never forget!
We never went to Our lady of the rocks, it just seemed to be too crowded (unless you manage to get with the first taxi/tour in the morning). We did walk up in the church tower in the centre.

Perast was lovely, although with a young family a day trip would have been long enough. There is a cafe which serves the best pizza I’ve ever eaten - Bocolibre I think it was called. If only there were more relaxed cafe type places to eat as all the restaurants serve the same dishes. It is truly pretty but lacks enough beach space for the amount of visitors. We used a spot on the road to enjoy swimming which was fine but not restful or much fun for young children.
A beautiful house in the most beautiful place of Boka bay. New renovation, clean, plenty of space ,with own parking. There is a mini supermarket and restaurants near by. A large terrace with stunning view! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and even more. The bed was comfortable, and the bed linen and towels are new.
Borislav met us for check in and was always in touch. It was very nice to get fruits, wine and a pie as a compliment. I really love Perast, I hope I will come back again. I was happy to stay in this house!
Lovely hotel in the centre of Perast, facing the Kotor bay; the room are big, comfortable, and very clean. We were staying in a different building from the reception and a bit far from the pool, but it was nice to stay in one of this historic and authetinc houses, with an amazing sea view. The staff was very professional. The dinner was good, the atmosphere chic and elegant! I highly recommend this place for whoever wants to visit Kotor Bay. Perast is also the prettiest village in the bay.
What a wonderful little town. We were not expecting it to be so small. At night all the tourists go home and it is basically you and the locals. A few markets nearby with some restaurants on the bay. Great little place for a honeymoon, inexpensive stay. Restaurants are more than the rooms. The owner was very friendly and provided us with a room overlooking the bay. Very comfortable stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book this place again if we came back.
I have stayed for 2 days. It was amazing! The view was tremendous. You should wake up early because you can watch in the best way the view of the bay of Kotor. You can park your car in the parking lot easily. The house was clean(it was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed). Also, it has a terrace which you can have breakfast or sip wine. Despite the weather being rainy while I was staying, Perast streets and the view of the bay were wonderful.
Everything was just perfect! Congratulations to all staff who is taking care so nicely of all clients. If you look for an unique experience you have to come in this hotel and this pitoresque village Perast. The breakfast terase with the perfect view gives you a different start of your day. We very much loved the coffe here, the spa and all the history behaind evrey single building of Perast. We will come back again❤.
Amazing place to stay ! everything from the first moment was perfect , the views to the Perast bell tower were breathtaking , you could almost touch it . The apartment was so very well equipped , even the kitchen had all the things you would need to cook at the apartment . Milica is the most friendly person I’ve met in Montenegro . The best surprise overall of my Montenegro trip ! 😃😃😃
Exceptional stay in Perast! The apartment exceeded all expectations - beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all amenities. The breathtaking views of the bay from the balcony were truly unforgettable. The central location made exploring the charming town a breeze. The host's warm hospitality and helpful recommendations added a personal touch to our experience.
We had a wonderful stay. The room is the cleanest i have ever been in when in hotel. The house is an old beautiul one, and they have really done a good job with the interior. This place is more like a boutique hotel. The location in Perast is best possible. Owner Marko is very helpful! The brekfast you eat at some of the small cafés by the ocean for free, if brekfast is included.
The property is in an excellent location, right by the water, with a lovely terrace. The air conditioning and wifi worked great. The hosts were incredibly friendly. When we went you could not drive in Perast so we parked in the nearby parking for 10€ for 24 hours and it was about a 1-2 minute walk to the accommodation. Excellent place in such a lovely little town.
AMAZING! One of the best views I've ever had! Very near from Perast "center", you just have to walk 3 min down some beautiful stairs.
Miljan (the owner) is also a very friendly person, he even greeted us with some beers and juice!
I would come back there 100 times!
Very nice staff from welcome to goodbye, it was a great place to stay.
Really thanks for all staff they were friendly and professional (special thanks for Masa from reception).
Note: free parking is available out side, you will be picked up by hotel shuttles.
Everything was perfect about the hotel, and we had a wonderful time in Perast. If you like hiking, don't miss the trail from Orahovac to Perast or back, with visiting St. Nikola chrurch and Fort St. Andrija where you can find a breathtaking view to Bay of Kotor.
It was a very nice stay near to the coastline.
Location was good, it was indeed very clean, and the room comes with a decently equipped kitchen.
Also you have a private parking.
Your kindness and helpful to change our booking and find transport to Tivat was unforgettable, your Home is a treasure of Montenegro Architecture, is a historical site.
There is no breakfast option with this property. Restaurants serving breakfast in Perast are few and their offerings are limited and not particularly satisfying.
