I got a private balcony since I was a solo female traveler- so sweet of them, made me feel special, room was nice, everything worked I am not a breakfast eater - a couple of days I went off with no breakfast- but got a baguette with me so I would not go hungry - how sweet and caring is that? Location amazingly quiet and resort landscaping is beautiful. The resort, rooms escpecially need some maintenacne but i believe they are short of funds., especially after Covid. But the staff made up for it being exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food variety was good, quality medium, Their open air restaurant lovely set up by pool overlooking the beach. The beach is nice but always very windy. What is great from the Sofitel you are very close to great activities such as The Vanille Nature Park , La vallee des 23 couleurs Park, Gris gris beach, which i highly recommend

A beautiful 3 bedroom apartment. Very spacious, well furnished with everything a traveller could want when spending a few days in the south of Mauritius. The apartment is on the first floor and it's only about 800m walking distance to the ocean. It's a very quiet, area. It's close to a large supermarket and also to restaurants and fast food places too. There's ample car parking in the street right in front of the apartment. In Souillac, you are well away from all the resorts and the tourist oriented strips. It's very peaceful and relaxing.
