The whole visit to Hotel De Magistraat was superb, and Willemstad is a most interesting town, with a quaint harbour and multiple choice of dining locations. It is a newly re-developed hotel, and the owners have done everything right. Our room was delightful, lots of space, beautifully decorated and furnished, with a wonderful large walk in wet room/shower room. Around the hotel the decoration, furnishings and EVERYTHING was just so great. In the morning, breakfast was "presented" as almost a ceremony, with a wonderful spread of cold meat, cheese, delicious bread choice and plenty more. If we are ever anywhere near this location again, we will change our route to stay here again. To score it - 12 out of 10!

Well-equipped, pleasant room. Good bed, pillow too large, but such pillows are apparently used everywhere in this region. Breakfast very good, served at the table and all extra requests catered for - very pleasant. Excellent restaurant. Lovely atmosphere.

It was interesting to enter the hotel by its front door and find myself in a ladies' hairdressers. But I was quickly identified as a hotel guest and not a customer for a trim, and the friendly staff made me feel at home and showed me to my room via the lift. They also provided me with a safe place to leave my bike for the night. I had a well-equipped room with fridge, coffee machine, TV etc. It was a very quiet area and I slept well. Breakfast was delivered by the owner and contained a good selection of items, including freshly squeezed orange juice.

Very modest budget accomodation.. Room super small but high ceilings. Being at annex building made our stay quiet. Very clean.Staff is helpful. Location by the marina is great. Parking for free 200 metres away.

The staff member who helped us to check in was superb. He asked us about dinner and our plans for the evening and kindly offered to serve us dinner much earlier than we booked. He was then courteous and checked in when handing us menus to ensure we had enough time for us plans later in the evening. It was also very lovely to have some complementary drinks on arrival

We were delighted to discover this camp site. The tent was clean and spacious and the beds were really comfy. There was plenty of hot water to shower. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and there was lots of choice. If we had had more time, we would have tried out the hot tub which looked like a great place to relax in. The location was incredible - so much wildlife to see and hear.

The hosts are nice, helpful, responsive and polite. The house looks newly renovated and very clean. The beds are comfortable and linens are clean. Velux windows in the loft room are bright and airy. It is actually no problem with a short stay. My children love homemade pancakes a lot. We had a bit of teething issues with the shower the first night, but the problem was dissolved very quickly. I could see the owner was trying to do their best to meet the standard. The real tile flooring is nice. Free coffee and tea is fabulous.
