High on the hill. Tiny homes/living space, perfect. We had heat and heated mattress pad, we had a 3 day chill advisory so rental was perfect. Unpleasant sleep in a van on nights where temps were 35°F.

Breakfast was excellent. Snacks and drinks in the room and in the common area were very nice. I think we received an upgrade as we were the only ones renting at the time. The room was large and the bathroom was excellent. The hostess was very friendly and provided tips on souvenirs.

The accommodation was terrific, as were the hosts (including Rusty). The breakfast supplies were very welcome and got the following day off to a great start. Beds were comfortable and the well equipped kitchen was very useful too.

The room, but keycard wasn't working so couldn't go anywhere as we'd have to leave our room unlocked so we could get back into our room. Manager was great opening the door with her master keycard but she couldn't get another keycard till the morning staff came on shift

My stay was not for holiday or travel. It was the best place for short term accommodation in relation to the corona virus crisis and my work.

Food at the bar was huge and lovely.
Had coffee at Chez Beanz and was awesome.
Small friendly town with beautiful people.
Use to live in Tuakau 85 till 93. Job well done on the old Pub. Tuakau certainly has changed. Lovely visit. Because of the time I stayed I never really saw many staff. Had a Lovely meal on last night and kitchen and staff handled a big birthday party plus all other dinners very very well. Thank you.
The room is wonderful, not the first time we have stayed there , comfortable, has all the features, clean and private. The bathroom has a spa bath, which is big enough for couples. The hotel is old and beautiful inside.
I love the fact that we didnt even have to go outside to the restaurant. It was joined to the hotel, internal access. My husband and I had a lovely evening and even won on the pokies. A lovely birthday treat.

Great location and facilities, particularly the kitchenette in our apartment. Beds super comfy. Very bright lights outside shining up to the hotel frontage - blinds good.
Great location for where we were going. Stayed in newer part of hotel which has been seamlessly added using the same lovely historic design. Comfortable spacious room.
Its a hotel with everything. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Hotel has great bars, restaurant and entertainment facilities. All with great friendly staff
I liked the location, there is a restaurant and bar juts in the ground floor, supermarket crossing the road in front the hotel. Nice smell along the hotel hallways.
