Everything was great!! You can’t never find the accommodation with this price and quality. Also at night, it’s very calm and peaceful. Slept very well. Dona Paula was really nice and supportive. Even though I can’t speak Portuguese well, but I understood that she wants to help her guests with her maximum effort. Exerior of building might seem to old or in construction, however inside of the hotel is fine. Bath tub was really good to take a rest. Breakfast was simple but full enough for my caminho. Muito obrigado Dona Paula.

An amazing palace full of history. Built in neo-manuelino style inside a lush forest, this palace is one of a kind. The rooms are of course and understandably not comparable with those of a modern 5 star hotel ( the palace is 200+ years old), but you don’t go to Bussaco for this.
