Good value for the money when hiking to Piton de Fournaise (1hr drive). Very clean room and common area. Breakfast was excellent!

It is loud. The room does little to drown out outside noise. You can hear everything from other guests and young children to the many neighborhood roosters that start crowing at 0130. There might as well not even be a wall between rooms. Wifi was spotty and I could only access it on the balcony reliably. This is probably better for a family, not for when work needs to get done, although it depends heavily on who your neighbors are.
