Everything was exceptional. We absolutely loved the location, the cleanliness, the sauna, the outdoor tub, the fact that is pet friendly. There is also a salt room for relaxation, a kitchen with dining area, all in all great facilities and extremely helpful and kind staff. I definitely recommend this place and we will for sure return.

We really liked it as this is what we wanted to find and expected. It's a nice hotel in country style in a very isolated place between the mountains. The host was very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very special (like home), food was good and abundant, with local specialties, for a reasonable price.

I was traveling through Maramures to visit some of the beautiful, centuries-old wooden churches they have in the region. Ieud was one on my list as were Poienile Izei and Barsana, which are all very close to here. In any case, this lodging is located on the main road in Sieu, so was super-easy to find. They have a prominent sign out front near their gate if the GPS is failing. In any case, the owners are an extremely kind couple, willing to chat and share some palinka. From their backyard, one can "spy" on the neighbors who have sheep, cows, chickens, and a host of other livestock. I thought the room was super-comfortable, the adjoining bathroom was great, and I slept very soundly. There was plenty of space to car my rental car out back as well.
