The Lillstuga was a lovely little stuga that was nicely decorated. The kitchen had high-quality kitchen utensils. The adjacent building with our own private toilet en shower was very comfortable and warm. The owner received us warmly and explained everything. She even kept the chickens, rooster and cats inside of we wanted. That was not necessary for us. You can't get more rural than this. In short, highly recommended!

Fabulous unspoiled location in the Swedish countryside, surrounded by forests, fields and farms, with cattle, sheep and beautiful poneys!! Private lake for swimming and relaxing, yet very near to Gnesta station (direct to Stockholm City and Arlanda airport). Authentic country home with very welcoming and helpful owners. The location is wonderful: away from the roads, by the lake and surrounded by forests. Vast open areas around the castle/hotel complex.
Breakfast: superb quality.
The staff are very accommodating, too.
Comfortable beds, huge shower room.
I liked the fact that it was clearly marked which parts of the complex allow dogs, cars, etc, and which don't.
The room was small and it had no fridge, but there's a big common room and a separate fully equipped kitchen. There's a coffee machine in the kitchen as well.
