Breakfast was good, different variety but on the bar was a basket with apples and one was off, clearly decaying. Also, the swimming pool saved the whole impression and feeling since it was hot weather and the kids could cool off , but only because they had not paying customers booked. I though the spa was a part of the stay.....

Surroundings, beautiful location in nice forests. Fits a group of friends eager for exploring a lot of bike trails that are available in the region. On evenings listening old HiFi with tunned radio which corresponds to the atmosphere :) It must be nice to stay there every season.
Overall it was a good experience staying in Sebastian u Hoffera hotel. Clean, comfy, warm (sometimes too warm), equipped with everything necessary room. Awesome stars and moon view through the ceiling window right from the bed. Breakfast - same every day but good enough. Nice and cozy restaurant with delicious meals and affordable prices. The staff was great, helpful, and polite.
Located in the center of Modra, next to the bus stop to Bratislava which is a 1-hour bus ride away.
So quite place on the very central street of Modra. It was real pleasure to stay in this nicely renovated private Vineta house. We were the only guests for that night and enjoyed the whole atmosphere of this lovely place. The owner Katrīna was so polite and helpful in all the matters. As the cherry on the cake was their own vine that we found as very tasty and good. We really liked that place and can recommend it from all the heart.
Location: good location of the hotel in the center of Modra. Near the hotel, you can find parking spaces. There is a restaurant in the hotel, also close to other restaurants. Rooms: Generally not bad; mosquito nets are on the windows, although some are already worn, and there are air conditioners. If you check in late or return to the hotel late - it is convenient that there is a bell, and the guard will open for you.
The rooms are very nice, comfortable, and clean. The hotel has lots of activities and a very large garden. The wellness area is great, very well-made. There are lots of toys and activities for kids and babies. The entire hotel, including pool and pool-area, were clean and well-kept. Staff were mostly very nice. The masseuse is very good. The hotel is very welcoming and accommodating to families.
Exceptional in any way! Historical building in the center of Modra, rooms with soul, cozy and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room with paintings dedicated to ceramics production in the region and so the whole style of the place. Authentic private ceramic workshop in the same street. One of those hotels that stay in the memory forever.
I can highly recommend the May house👌 If you are looking for a place to stay in Modra with its picturesque area you shouldn't go any further. Katarina was a great host. Thank you for a very warm welcome.
The townhouse is impressive with a beautiful wine collection and with easy access to coffee shops and restaurants.
Thank you
Our stay at Zochova Chata was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the spa & wellness facilities are clean, modern, comfortable and they really weren't too crowded, even though we were there on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was attentive and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.
The town of Modra is beautiful. Good wine, nice trips to two near castles (Červený kameň, Smolenický zámok), evening walks around the town.
Very nice host who offered us some of their family-made wine
We spent one night at Hotel pod Lipou (this was our second time). Everything was great from the comfy, good size room to the wellness and hospitality of staff. We’d definitely return again 😊
Quiet location outside main centre of Modra. Parking outside in street no trouble. Comfortable beds and spacious bath room. Friendly hosts, communication was very easy! Nice garden view.
Great hotel with amazing welness, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, comfy big rooms. No plastic waste in bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Will be happy to visit Zochova chata again.
