It's obvious the owners Wendy and Doc put a lot of love into their lodge. The grounds are manicured leading up to the bank of the Guadalupe river. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The setup of the house was perfect with a bathroom inbetween the 2 bedrooms. The living area was so cute with the bird mural on the walls. The owners were easy to communicate with and were very concerned about us having what we needed. The view of the lake was great.

Friendly convenient and all that they have advertised is what you receive and more.. it give you a piece of mind it worth everything.. Canyon Lake is a great little place to stay.
Canyon Lake is a great little place to stay. Loved the area which we hadn’t visited before. Didn’t get to go to the live music at Brookshire Brothers but hopefully can in the future. We came at the right time of the year to see the flowers and of course the lake is beautiful to see. There is so much to do within an hour or less drive from Canyon Lake so, you can be away from some of the fast pace but close enough to go to those areas and visit the wineries or shop in some unique places.DebraUnited States - 4.0Scored 4.0

place needs TLC and attention to detail . we manage VAC rentals in New Orleans. A book with details of the area, recommendation's, restaurants attractions, local map etc. Owner is sweet! Seems new to the business. Needs some help and encouragement. we stayed for one night, my wife got stung in the face by a scorpion, then we find bed bugs in our bed. was supposed to be a relaxing two day getaway with my wife. Was not the case at. we have reached out to the help desk multiple times and no response. we even told the staff on premises and she laughed.. such a shame. nice place, nice location. poorly maintained.AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0

My family and I had a great weekend here! I hope to come back soon, I enjoyed the lakeview and the time away from city life. Great place to make memories with the ones you hold and love dear. What a beautiful area to spend time with your family and friends. My son brought his boat, and they all went either fishing or pulling everyone around in a water boat and having the best time throwing them out and around the water they all had so much fun. Then going to all the different areas, you can go and float the rives. We went to the bottomless boat to see the fish and turtles we loved that it was so relaxing. And then my crew followed up with playing water volleyball in the pool. They have music at night and fun around the pool. It was our first time and not our last. Just remember to ask for the elevator area if you cannot do stairs that was a little hard for me, but I did make it. They have the most amazing Italian restaurant a must go too. We got around with ease.AAnonymous

Also the river entrance is right behind the condo…. And if you want to grill there are 2 grills….good size balcony where everyone an chill and have their drinks/foods an look out at the river… If you want to have a great time this is the spot….I come float the river every year and I normally stay at another resort along the river but this time I got lucky and this was available….

The entrance to the rooms are from the outside, but we felt very safe. The room was clean, cleaner than most of the 4-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Even the windows are spotless. The staff checked up on us to make sure all our needs are met. The views from the back are amazing! Will stay here again.

At night we enjoyed the hot tub and the company of the local deers and does making their way through the neighborhood!… We planned of cooking while staying here so we stopped by the nearest HEB (25 mins). The hosts made us feel welcomed at all times. Very sweet and accommodating couple.
