Breakfast was great! Pool facilities are basic and the pool chairs are old and uncomfortable .

Loved the view from our room in the tower, and the beds were so comfortable I haven’t slept that good in awhile. Also had a very clean workout room with a good amount of equipment.

The TV remote control had a problem. The staff corrected it immediately.
Due to sub-zero temperature, and our late arrival, parking spaces were full. Again the staff helped us to find a space to park.

Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I loved the canal area with all the restaurants and shops. It was fun to see the big ships and the aerial lift bridge.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.

Duluth is a wonderful place to visit.
Duluth is a wonderful place to visit. They have things to do for families, friends, short or long visits. Must visit Canal Park, Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Miller Mall and Rose Garden. Lots of restaurants, Fitzer, Grandma's and Perkins too. Talking walks along the shore, skipping rocks or just enjoying the fresh air will help you sleep better. The kids will love the water, trains and a visit to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls.

We enjoyed Canal Park , Glensheen, and eating at Clyde's Iron Works and Grandma's. We drove along the North Shore to Gooseberry Falls and ate at Betty's Pies. Would recommend all of these, but not when the Canadian fire smoke is so dense you can hardly see the lake! Getting around was easy but don't follow Mapquest directions!
Appreciated the 24-hour a day market/pantry at the Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Duluth Waterfront -- it was an unexpected treat to be able to grab snacks in the middle of the night. Also appreciated how close it is to Canal Park, but far enough way where it didn't feel so touristy. The view I had from room 311 overlooking the harbor, lift bridge, and Duluth's hillside was exactly what I needed to see to feel refreshed after a day of traveling.
Our room was on the second floor along the Duluth Harbor Canal. Amazing views of the lift bridge, canal park and downtown Duluth. The room had a very comfy bed, a gas fireplace, a hot tub and 2 comfy easy chairs with a table. There was a large window for viewing from the room, and a balcony. Within walking distance to many restaurants and attraxctions. Excellent buffet continental breakfast in the main room - which also has great views.
The hotel was reminiscent of Hot Tub Time Machine, its an old 1980's ski lodge completely renewed. It is in very good shape, the poolhouse is huge and freshly painted and varnished with that old college feel. The rooms are pristine and roomy, and its straight off the highway (Rt35) so very convenient. Up on a hill overlooking Duluth so pleasant. The breakfast is hard boiled eggs, waffle maker and assorted breads and yogurt, so decent.
We've stayed here before and love the facility and location. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and we like the variety of items at breakfast. We think this inn is fair-priced for the Duluth area, and are always glad when we can get a room here. When the weather is a bit warmer, it's a nice walk across the Lift Bridge to the Canal Park Shopping area. The shuttle only runs on weekends during the winter months.
This hotel is awesome! The location is great since it is right on the lake. Easily walk to many restaurants, shops and go up to the pier and watch the ships come in. Breakfast is fabulous at this hotel. Love that they put out snacks in the lobby for the guests and we were even informed they had the makings for smores at the front desk if we wanted them when we were sitting around the fire.
Very comfortable, modern and a great location. The lobby was really nice and was sort of a hub with food and other things to buy, games, and plenty of seating. The rooms themselves were really comfortable, good amount of space and very clean. The location isn't in the heart of everything in Duluth but it's close to all the main areas making it a good place to visit from.
It was a very nice hotel and room. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was excellent. My son loved the pool and it was very pet friendly. My dog was being loud and the staff very nicely let me know it was an issue and I appreciated that.
I loved the location and the restaurant had good food. Beautiful view and the hot tub was great. Outdoor area was very cool and was a short walk to the DECC and canal park. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Close to hospital…We priced out other hotels in the area there were some serious price gouging going on in Duluth Minnesota almost $300 for a room it was terrible, the Days Inn what is the least expensive.
The Inn is great for a short stay when travelling in the area. It is near Duluth and the highway, so it is very easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. No major complaints.
We really loved our accommodation however, we didn't get much time to enjoy it. Next time we will set some time aside to enjoy it. It was rather expensive for just a place to sleep. Our fault, not yours.
Breakfast was very fresh and area was very clean. Favorite was the ham and sausages. Plenty of tables available. Great location in the center of Canal Park. Free parking right across the street.
We liked that the hotel had outdoor seating options. We brought our breakfast outside and even our takeout orders for other meals.
The location was amazing-- right in the middle of Canal Park!
The stay was friend and clean. The location was good to travel though Duluth. It was a good motel and will use it next time I go to Duluth. Plus the free breakfast was great.
The breakfast area is great. It overlooks the lake and is an excellent area to pickup food and eat with your family. Bonus pool and hot tub too when traveling with kids.
