I really like the concept of these bungalows, I love the Tikki huts. A few more chairs. The deck was so dried up and weathered. The bottom step of our hut is not even with the others and it's dangerous for others. Just looking out for others. It was nice to have shower supplies.

Great location. Very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent pool.
A reservation team is present in the hotel. We booked the 2 hour guided kayak tour where you will see gators from the kayak. Excellent for us. The person of the reservation team recommended to visit the Shark national park as well as some of the boardwalks. Excellent recommendations.
We also did the “loop road”, which runs though the cypress woods. You can see many gators from your car. Take 2-3 hours for this 24 miles road.

We enjoyed the grass and mangrove airboat rides with Captain Jacks but the best activity we enjoyed is riding along the 20 Mile loop trail and all the wonderful wildlife we saw there. Alligators were laying along the banks sunning and crossing the road in the early afternoon. There were many many beautiful birds sunning along the waterway as we drove along. It was best for wildlife viewing and taking pictures where you could literally almost reach out and touch the wildlife.
Loved seeing the huge gators and multiple bird varieties in their natural habitat. The boardwalks along the Tamiami were wonderful too. We enjoyed our stay and the local restaurants during our stay. We will try the swamp buggy tour the next time and the boat trip out to Thousand Islands where we were only there for 3 days total.

The “cabin” was actually a refurbished trailer.
The “cabin” was actually a refurbished trailer. I could feel the rotting floors underneath the vinyl flooring. The door jam and frame was loose due to rotted wood and about 1/4 inch gap was between the door and frame. Only one large cockroach was found upon waking up on the first morning.

Great for visiting the Everglades and doing some tours.
Great for visiting the Everglades and doing some tours. There is a small selection of restaurants and I would suggest that you check to see if they accept cards when you arrive to avoid any issues as the internet connections are not always great.
We found everybody friendly and helpful and would go back to visit again to do some more tours and to relax as it is really peaceful

Quaint town, quiet when we were there.
Quaint town, quiet when we were there. Lots of options for guided tours of Everglades. Everglades Area Tours are a great company to go with.
Other options include airboats and parks to enjoy nature.
If you have kayaks or a boat, the sky's the limit in terms of exploration.
Plenty places to eat out for all budgets. Island Cafe is good.

The staff were helpful when we discussed the outside light shining into our bedroom at night. This was quickly sorted out.
The rooms were spacious and contained a kitchenette. We had 2 bedrooms, so excellent for families.
Staff helped advise on where to eat, which ended up being a nice restaurant option. Ivey House was in a good location for the activities in Everglade City.
It has a small but insect proof pool area.
Most splendidly situated, from the terasse a superb view over lake and mangrove swamp. Excellent point of departure for visiting the wild nature of the Everglades. And no so far away from the Seminole tribe AH-TAH-THI-KI Museum. And closer, the historical Smallwood Store in Chokoloskee is worth visiting, with museum, possibilities for boat trips as well as fresh oysters and sea food.
it was so nice to sit by the water. the screened in porch was lovely. so comfortable and tidy. We can’t say enough about it. The cabin was modern, spacious, clean, nicely decorated and the bed was so comfy! What a perfect little hidden gem. Every convenience was within a mile, There was a grocery store, lots of places nearby for airboat tours, fishing gear, and good food!
Beautiful setting, lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Rooms were clean, fresh, and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner the night we stayed and joined the locals in the bar afterwards and had a brilliant night. Everyone so welcoming and friendly.
Excellent location for travelling round the Everglades, local restaurants are amazing. All staff helpful and accommodating. The hotel was basic. However clean and comfortable no complaints at all. Pool was lovely at short walk from the hotel
Helpful check-in staff but at a different location close by. Room was large and clean. Shampoo, etc. dispensers in the shower. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was large and modern. Island Cafe next door gives discount if you stay at hotel.
have been coming to Everglades City to fish for years, and enjoyed the Ivy House. was great as far as location and service. Seems to have gone down hill. No breakfast, and just a place to sleep. have to find somewhere else to eat.
Set in the heart of the everglades.
Clean, comfy, and spacious.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Pretty spacious parking, didn't have too many issues.
Very nice to have a fridge in the hotel room.
Price was great.
No breakfast due to the virus. Close to most shops and stores. Room was very clean and the bed was perfect for us. Front desk very polite and was very helpful. Liked the discount to Jacks airboat tour given by the Hotel.
Room was a lot larger than expected so had plenty of space to open our suitcases. Lovely comfy bed and an amazing large shower.
Very convenient eatery just at the back of the motel serving excellent food.
Fully renovated rooms. Spacious, comfortable and really clean. The location is good at the entry of Everglades City with access to restaurants and a grocery store.
There was nothing to like about the hotel. No ice to be found but we had a ice bucket. No screen on the window. Very run down. People living on the first floor.
