It was inexpensive, and the rooms had been updated. Lots of storage in room. Loved that the window opened for fresh air. I had one request for my room, and it was fulfilled.

The staff were all nice folks, the beds were clean, the room was spacious, and hot water comes quick. Everything was nice.

The place was cozy, clean, and comfy. The hosts were great at communicating and responded really quickly. The room was spacious, and the hammocks outside were a nice touch. I've stayed in both a double queen (2023 arriving at 12:30 a.m.) and a single queen (2024). Everything we needed was available both times. I shared this place with two other individuals who ended up staying as well.

The Comfort Suites hotel is located within two miles of downtown Escanaba, the Upper Peninsula State Fair Grounds and Bay College, also known as Bay de Noc Community College.

Due to unseen circumstances we couldn't get to the Hotel until very late so we called and asked if they would save our room for us and they did even though it was a holiday weekend. Additionally we needed to get to the airport the following morning and the manager called a cab for us. They went above and beyond to help us. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was nice and open from 6 to 10 am which benefited us. We would recommend to a friend.
