I used to live in the Herndon area about twenty years ago, so my opinion may be slightly biased. Overall, there are good dining options including, every fast food option, and other chain restaurants. But, I highly recommended Jimmy's Old Towne Tavern for Buffalo style wings.

Convenient location for the airport and the metro station. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. The exterior - garden area and stairwells are dirty - need a good clean. Breakfast was very poor - very sugary snacks, nothing that appealed.

We didn’t stay in the region, but we did visit the large air and space museum, which was very interesting for all age groups, and drove to some nearby historic towns. Next time, would visit some of the nearby wineries and hike, it’s so beautiful here. Previously, we visited the great falls nearby, also cool for all ages.PamelaUnited States

My expectations were not very great since I paid almost nothing, and the place has 2 stars. However the hotel exceeded them. The breakfast was surprisingly, above the average. My wife would complain about the cleanliness, however I'm not that critic, since I needed it just for a night. The room was spacious and coffee/tea was offered.

I had to sleep with my clothes and coat on. It took 6 hours for my room to heat up. Air conditioning is not only bad for the environment, but keeping temperatures in the 50s is not good for the body.
