The owner made our visit very comfortable. He put an extra bed in our room for our graduating son (West Point) and left breakfast for us because he knew we didn't have time to stop. He was excellent.

No real amenities, no ice, room service was limited. Dining in the restaurant, the food was good, we tried to take out dessert by the time the bill came … ruined inedible. Went in the trash. No pool or instructions. Not at all how it was advertised and the bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to leave.

The location because of the stunning view of the Hudson River. The rooms although dated, were clean . The staff was kind and attentive.

We booked rooms here to attend a concert in town. The location was excellent - an easy walk to downtown. I wasn't sure what to expect from a guest house and was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort, ease, and privacy it offered us. We enjoyed using one of the common areas after returning to the guest house. The security systems in place were a nice peace of mind. We also very much enjoyed meeting the proprietor. Overall, an awesome experience.

While the rooms may not be fancy, the manager, Augustine Shadab, could not have been better. When my rental car key fob battery died and I could not get the car doors open or the key fob, he found a video, opened it for me and not finding the skinny emergency key drove me to Walgreens found the right battery, and put it in saving my day!

Liked the architecture of the hotel, grounds were really nice, and the decor was pleasant. Staff was extremely pleasant and hotel was spotless. All amenities you might need were provided...soaps, hair dryer, etc. Breakfast was small and left in a bag at our door but still a nice perk I guess. Was hoping for something a bit more substantial
