Large room, generally clean. Nice view from breakfast room. The personnel gave their best. We did get a partial refund for the overprized accommodation.

The innkeepers were very lovely and left complimentary wine from a local winery. The bed was very comfy and we had a nice small ocean view. There are nearby restaurants you can get food from. It's peaceful and quiet.

Breakfast is served in your room and the first day we had frittata and yogurt with muffins. Coffee or tea and juice. Second day we had eggs (from their own chickens) with tomatoes and mixed fruit and muffins. Excellent both days. There is a micro wave and a fridge in the room so suggest you bring some supplies with you.
Mendocino offers amazing easy but very scenic hiking.
Mendocino offers amazing easy but very scenic hiking. Restaurants are good.
The trip on the way in or out is very scenic independently from the road you choose. Always a good overnight stay option when traveling around the region.

Loved this little piece of Heaven tucked into the gorgeous California coast. Small town ...but it has heart. lots of old character homes and heritage buildings. Don't forget to check out the pubs ..super friendly staff and yummy foods and local beers. The bakery is a must if you're looking to expand your waist line. Really enjoyed this little town...captured the essence of that coastal feeling.

Mendocino is authentic and picturesque.
Mendocino is authentic and picturesque. It is very small and you can easily walk through the whole town in an hour! The shops are cute and there are many beautiful items to choose from if you like shopping. The people are warm and friendly. It is extremely foggy in the morning until about 10 AM and it rolls back in around 4 or 5 PM.

Nice quaint little town of a few shops and restaurants...
Nice quaint little town of a few shops and restaurants period. Don't get confused but the glass beach is not what it was 30 and 40 years ago, In fact most maps don't even list glass beaches anymore and the one North at Fort Bragg is very limited in glass. Too many people took glass home over the years and time/nature led to the ending of glass beaches. Also the practice of dumping garbage and glass bottles in the ocean is not Environmentally friendly.
Perfect location: just a 7-minute drive to the coast and you cannot beat being tucked away in the Redwoods by night. Super cozy: The bed was incredibly comfortable and even had different pillows to choose from. The house was super clean and had all the amenities you could ask for, for the six days we spent in Mendocino. It truly felt like a home away from home for us. You can tell the owners really gave careful attention to curate a cozy and inviting space. It was truly a treat to come home to this place after a long day of exploring the area.
Rustic charm of the Mendocino coast, stayed in the captain's room with a great balcony view. The location was perfect and the staff was first-rate. The historical house was showing wear and tear from the north coast weather but the inside was nicely furnished and charming. Loved the fireplace in the suite and the afternoon treat of wine and cheese.
The location was perfect to walk around Mendocino. The breakfast consisted of delicious muffins and coffee brought to our room. The room had dirty, stained carpets. The bathroom floor was rotted and an old board was placed to cover a large hole in the floor. The shower door was missing hardware and was in very poor condition.
The view from the dining room was amazing, the gardens were very well kept, the room was comfortable and reasonably spacious and the property was only a short distance from the lovely town of Mendocino. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was freshly prepared.
We were in Obsidian, with an excellent view of the bay. We had wonderful sunny weather. Breakfast was excellent, sitting by the window with even better view. Cookies! Perfect location close to Mendocino, also close to Ft. Bragg, tide pools, Point Arena Lighthouse and more.
The hotel has a nice charm to it, the reviews weren't that good so we didn't have high expectations and it positively surprised us! The rooms are big, very clean and the setting is unbeatable. You can see beautiful sunsets over the ocean from the hotel
Brewery Gulch Inn is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The communication prior, the level of professionalism, the comfort, and especially the FOOD are all AMAZING. We can't say enough good things about this inn. A truly magical experience.
Great hotel location in town. Reasonable room rate. Quiet property. Shared balcony/walkway was more private than it sounds. Nice French door in room added much needed light. The parts of the lobby that were open were attractive.
Funky but comfortable. Perfect location - nice little kitchen Great staff. Very friendly -bathroom supplies are very nice. Good Wi-Fi. No TV , which is a plus to us / much to do and see Good value for Mendocino
Cute little "shabby chic" B&B in the heart of Mendocino. Walkable location. Lovely sea view from the top floor. Delicious morning breakfast delivered right to the door (discreetly.) Very attentive staff.
Beautiful campground that was close to ocean and town of Mendocino. Accommodations were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Families with children had their own section, so evenings were very quiet.
A quirky little place which seems to fit in with the rest of Mendocino, a charming village.
Breakfast was freshly baked muffins delivered to your door in the morning, a lovely touch.
Beautiful grounds, peaceful area, only 7 minutes drive to Mendocino, bottle of wine and a note in our room on arrival was a lovely touch, super quick and easy check in and out!
By paying extra, we got a very big room on first floor. lots of flowers surround hotel. Comfortable king bed. Located up a hill from town. Easy parking.
