Loved it! Mike and Leaf were amazing and even offered up local places for dinner. The room was spotless and very nicely decorated, the outdoor area was very nice and inviting as well. We will definitely be back, I want this place to flourish.

Staff were very good, the computer glitched and the reception manager asked us to wait and less than a minute later Simply gave us the room keys and said the paperwork could be done later. Clean heated pool and good location

There was no breakfast! A small bottle of water cost $1 . The room wasn't clean, dust everywhere, coffeepot was filthy. Remote control was hard to use, heater was very loud !

Clearly a family owned property. Father? was very abrasive, daughter was good at calming him down and made me feel comfortable.

On the expressway, the breakfast is very poor. There is no sound insulation in the room, and the guest's speech in the next room affects the rest! The room smells! In addition, a deposit of $100 will be charged, and you can't get a refund until one week after you check out!

Michigan City is a great area; there is the State Park and the National Park nearby. Both offer great hiking on / near the sand dunes. There are several beaches and all are free: the parking can be challenging so you have to be careful. There is good shopping and a casino and spa. We ate at several fantastic restaurants that I would highly recommend: Cool Runnings for Jamaican food, Fish Camp for seafood, and Cafe Farina for Italian food.

Loved the Washington Park beach.
Loved the Washington Park beach. It was nice to park and be so close to the beach! We also really enjoyed the Washington Park Zoo, it was small but fun and inexpensive. If we had more time, we definitely would have gone to the Friendship Botanical Gardens.

Nothing that I expected.
Nothing that I expected. The National park and State parks are very nice. The beaches were surrounded by Steel Mills. Wasn't feeling the vacation atmosphere. Huge Nuclear plant near the shore
The city wasn't much of a beach town. Alot of industry controlled the shoreline. I traveled Michigan's side of Lake Michigan. Several quaint beach towns align the coast.
We ended up going to Buffalo City MI to capture the feel of being on a vacation.

We drove around town for awhile to find a place to eat dinner. Finally found a cozy pub where the food was very good, but I don't recall the name. The town has some very nice art work scattered around and the library looked lovely. It was almost raining the days we were there or we would have visited the dunes. Our visit was only for 1 night so we didn't have time to sightsee, but the folks there were very nice.It looks like they are trying hard to overcome some of the unfortunate effects of covid, and we wish them all the best!

We traveled to Michigan City as it is close to the Indiana Dunes. And that was our goal. So it was convenient to stay there. And we found a great Catholic church in the city for Sunday Mass. Had but one day in our travel plans else should we have explored the city more.

The area seems quite old.
The area seems quite old. The smaller businesses are all very run down. Doesn't appear to be a very financially stable area. However, every person we came into contact with was exceptionally friendly and courteous. We will be returning.
I liked the location the place has potential but it’s not kept up with at all it’s a bit ran down and the towels were filthy I never use hotel towels anyway but for those who do that is horrible
I thought the outside of the building was very cute. Pretty centrally located. Close to new buffalo and Michigan city.
The owner had breakfast for us Saturday morning outside around the fire.
The place was reasonably priced. It was a good value. The location was excellent too for getting to the Indiana Dunes. I was glad we were on the first floor so we did not have to go up stairs.
Worst micro I've stayed at.
In the past I've been pleased with micro.
I travel to Michigan city often now.
First time at this one. Sad to say Would not stay again .
The hotel was what you would expect for the price, but I left something valuable behind and they found it and returned it to me. They have my undying gratitude.
