I have stayed in this motel for several years.
I have stayed in this motel for several years. I noted that the recent reviews were not good, but I found my room to be fine. lt is not a fancy hotel but it was clean and comfortable and I slept well.

We stayed in Millington but spent our free time in Memphis. Memphis was great and I would recommend the Lorraine Motel (MLK's assassination site) as a must see. The area where the hotel is located is decent; however, this hotel is under construction, the air conditioning unit smell moldy. You know mold have been known to kill. The housekeeping staff needs training in how to clean. If one can't for the job, such as vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, and actually clean the bathrooms, put two people per room and let them tackle them together. Just a thought.

They charged my credit card twice while booking the hotel for multiple nights and when I asked for a refund for the overcharge ent they were extremely rude and argumentative and refused to give my money back. I had to dispute the charge just to get a refund. Don’t waste your time or money at this hotel if you don’t want to encounter the rude staff and issues with being charged twice also refusing to issue a refund to me for being charged twice. I will never book here ever again.

While both of our rooms were clean, the carpets inside the rooms was stained (presumably, from past use, but importantly, they were clean).
