Palo Alto is a cute city with tons of things to do. Plenty of food options to eat at, tons of shopping, and events to go to. It is a little bit more on the pricey side but worth the visit. The farmer's market is one of our favorite things to do on Sunday when we visit.

Stanford University was nice.
Stanford University was nice. I spent most of my time in the library, but the architecture was nice.
The city is extremely expensive for food. Restaurants were very pricey, and even groceries were costly.
There is a lot of homelessness and people living in campers. It is not the nightmare that San Francisco is, but it is tragic to see such affluence and poverty side-by-side.

Palo Alto is an affectionately weird mix of California egalitarianism and Silicon Valley Venture Capitalism. I only come to the city for health care at Stanford Medical Center, which is world class, all the way!

It was a good hotel, very comfortable but if you want a meal in the evening or weekend forget it. The hotel does not serve meals during those times. I will go to the Courtyard next time I am in the area.

We needed a place to stay close to Stanford and Coronet Motel was perfect. If we need to return, we will definitely stay there again. We were so pleased with the size of the room which included a breakfast table, sofa, desk and private bedroom. It is not new, but very clean and well kept up.

The Stanford University campus is worth a visit and a guided tour if you can book one. The Baylands nature preserve is a beautiful place to take a walk or just relax. Shopping and eating at the Stanford Shopping Mall with its variety of large and small shops is delightful.
Equipped and managed with love for detail - SO DIFFERENT from all these places that rent you ugly and run-down rooms for high prices. The Palo Alto Inn is an unbelievable value for money, starting with a lovely front desk and not ending with real flowers and a complementary bottle of wine in the clean, pretty and nicely smelling room. So far the best motel experience we had in the US (and we had quite a few). Very nice neighborhood, too.
The location of the hotel is truly great. You're literary in the center of Palo Alto, a few minutes walk from literary anything you would want and need. The staff was nice and helpful, always there to greet and say something nice. The room was good, I'd highlight a very comfortable bed and a good TV with a million options. Everything was clean and nice. WIFI worked great without stopping for a second.
Location was perfect for us to visit Stanford, and the room was comfortable. The staff was really nice, and offered us waters on arrival and an early check-in. For our one-night stay, it was great and reasonably priced for Palo Alto. The breakfast was better than we expected with make-your-own waffles, good coffee, and a nice selection so everyone could find something they wanted.
We had an excellent stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with good facilities - great shower, microwave, fridge & coffee machine and a small balcony. Facilities on site included a deli, swimming pool and washing machines with dryers. Creekside Inn is easy to find with free parking on site. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely facility, well appointed room, very comfortable bed, nice and accommodating staff. The neighborhood is not so interesting - not much walking distance but it's a fairly easy drive to nearby commercial areas and the lovely downtown. Will certainly stay again
I stayed there for 15 days. It was a wonderful place to stay at Palo Alto. It was really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Great location.
Hugo was an amazing owner! He is so kind and helpful. Strongly recommended, I would definitely stay again.
The Palo Alto Inn was a very nice place. The receptionist was very helpful, as well as the very nice room. Overnight was simply for travelling, but it had a great place to spend the night. This would be very helpful to spend the night again.
I was in Palo Alto for surgery at Stanford. My daughter and I were well pleased and plan if I have to go back and stay another time, we would choose Creekside Inn. The place was very clean, beautiful outside surroundings. Comfortable beds.
Property exceeded my expectation for the price point. Very clean and tidy. Well maintained. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
I will stay here again on future visits to Palo Alto.
The staff are fantastic, especially Christian who gave us a little tour of some of the beautiful original features of the hotel. It’s so charming. Rooms were large and airy and clean.
Small, boutique hotel close to the transit center, downtown, and Stanford University. It was nicely quiet, old school feel with some technological upgrades.
This is my first time here in America, for work. I stay in this hotel for more than one month. The place is fantastic and they provide 5 stars service!
