Our room looked out over the sea to Vancouver Island. So easy to go down to the ferry in the morning to go to Victoria. The breakfast was excellent. Cereals, juices, scrambled egg, a waffle maker… A good welcome too.

** This is a along-the-road type of motel and when you are getting close, you can see the sign up above the building. The lettering is faded with weather and time. No one has paid attention to that sign for years. That will set the stage for your stay.
** The location is good- walking distance to several restaurants and the downtown area. Along the way you'll pass plenty of delapidated buildings and store fronts as well. I didn't say it was a pretty walk.

We had a wonderful couple of nights in this quirky place in the most fabulous location. The owners welcomed us on arrival and made sure we were happy with everything. Their guidance on where to eat and what to do was invaluable.
The rooms were finished to a very hight standard. We wish them every success. They deserve it.

PA is a cute town however my experience did not meet my expectations, and they are not high. I dined at a local restaurant and the food was 2.5/5 (pics below-looks good but..). It was average quality for way above average price. It was disappointing. I don’t mind paying for quality but that didn’t come into play. And I’m not hard to please. Would I visit PA again? Yes. It’s cute and the ferry is a huge draw as well as its proximity to the Olympic Ntl Forest.

We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...
Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!
Very nice owners, very accommodating. We had a queen suite (with kitchen): VERY clean throughout & very comfortable beds. So many extra small practical touches that are rarely found in modest motels: excellent bedside variable-brightness reading lamps, lots of hooks for hanging things, loads of towels, 3 luggage stands, full kitchen, access to guest laundry. Big separate kitchen with plenty of room (and chairs) for several people. Surprisingly quiet for being on the main road.
I can say only great things about the Olympic Lodge! I love it and I will absolutely be back! The property feels like an historic but updated lodge, and seems larger than it is, maybe because of the wide hallways. It has a warm inviting feel and everything is comfortable and perfect! The staff was so friendly & helpful! The hot tub was fantastic after hiking in the National park. The breakfast is best I’ve had for a free hotel breakfast. I literally loved my stay there!
Port Angeles is a gateway to Olympic National Park, not a destination itself. Along the highway are many motels. The Aircrest looks like most on the outside which is worn. The inside is a different story. The room had been recently refurbished so everything was fresh, new and comfortable. Check-in was smooth and friendly. Price wise, the motel is comparable to other properties in the area but quality wise I'm guessing much better.
Gorgeous sea view in a beautiful garden full of lovely blossoms. Natural habitat shared with eagles and deers up the undeveloped beach. Landlords are friendly and make great breakfast. Convenient location, next to a road of Lavender farms, close enough to great winery and restaurants in Sequim, hikes in Port Angeles. And of course, room is very clean. Love the Jacuzzi.
Hotel offered breakfast and free laundry across the street in their other hotels. Bathroom was pretty large and had good water pressure in the shower. Location was great for exploring the Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic National Park, and walking distance to the downtown area for restaurants and shops.
A nice, quiet location in the woods. The windows inside the house gave great views all around the house and it had a nice 70’s house vibe. It was just up the hill from the turn off to Hurricane Ridge. And about 10-15 mins down into Port Angeles and access to Hwy 101.
Our room looked out over the sea to Vancouver Island. So easy to go down to the ferry in the morning to go to Victoria. The breakfast was excellent. Cereals, juices, scrambled egg, a waffle maker… A good welcome too.
Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and convenient location for hikes in Olympic National Park from Port Angeles! Staff was excellent. Rooms and property were a bit dated but very comfortable.
Port Angeles is a great base for both travel to Victoria B.C. on the Blackball ferry and visiting Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park. The hotel was convenient to both.
This is a great place for location in Port Angeles. The owner was lovely. Everything was simple, clean, and comfortable with an affordable price. Would stay again!
Big comfy beds. Nice furnishings. Good place to explore Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent from. Restaurant next door made great breakfasts ( not included)
Great property! Yes, it's older, but updated and extremely comfortable. Clean as a whistle too. This is the only motel I stay in when I'm in Port Angeles
