Del Mar Motel is located in Rosemead, 13 km from California Institute of Technology and 17 km from LA Union Station. The 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

The location is great if you have a car, a nice rather quiet neighbourhood, a huge Walmart is 5 minutes away by car, lots of restaurants around as well. The bed is very comfortable and the place is overall clean and nice. There are electrical sockets everywhere as well as for USB and USB-C which is great when you need to plug multiple stuff at once. You get a rather big fridge for a motel. TV is great with easy access to HDMI so you can connect your laptop.

I left the hotel sick with bug bites of my eye and arm, that inflamed enormously making me sick to visit ER. This hotel needs to be reported to the County Health Department. I have already filed a complaint with my agent. Teh manager of hotel does not care about this.

Great location for our needs. Going to the Rosebowl parade and needed a place to sleep and park our truck and camper. Owner was so kind. He let us in our room hours before check in and said we could leave truck there until after parade.

    Avoid this place at all costs. Lower then sayisfactory condition. Dirty sheets, employees that lie, they are trying to steal my deposit, it would be hard to give this place a reason to even keep a deposit. Tv didn’t even work for over half the stay. No fire alarm, only wires hanging from the ceiling, bed was a mattress laced on wood, not a box spring and mattress lol just a mattress on wood. They don’t care about your comfort and there was mold, rust and terrible old condition. Like a ‘80’s hotel out in the desert. If you complain they will just lie, not care and make an excuse, while trying to get more money out of you. Way over priced plus I was over charged the rate I was supposed to get.

    Roaches, the rooms are not cleaned (shower shoes are a must), the staff is horrible, the whole motel has to share one microwave that is outside, there are stains on the walls and burn marks on the blankets.

    The room was clean and comfy.

    The room was clean and comfy. Large bathroom and nice fridge. Owner/manager was super sweet. Greeted us with a smile even though we checked in at midnight. The only down side was there was no water in the vending machine. Only soda.

    the stores were just across the street from the Bokai Garden...

    the stores were just across the street from the Bokai Garden Hotel where we stayed. Everything was within reach Target, Dollar Tree, and Cold Stone and other places to have a good meal. Nice places to eat at.

    This hotel is located on a main street next to a gas station and hospital is nearby. There are better hotels in Rosemead where we've had pleasant stays. I just can't recommend Flamingo Inn anymore.

    Rosemead me as was a nice town to stay in, plenty of stores to shop at and lots Restaurants to chose from. I recommend if you plan to site see or go shopping you leave early because the traffic gets bad in the midday.

    This is our weekend getaway for my wife and I. We usually stay here every weekend if not every other weekend. It's the only time we get to be alone. This last time was the worse, but that was only because everything felt old and flimsy. But overall my wife and i enjoyed eachother and being together was the very best part. This hotel is definitely going to be a regular stay for us. The front desk people are a bit nosey and talk to you like you're a kid or something. No real complaints here. Thank you for your time.

    Roomy accommodations, big bathroom, big kitchen, all appliances look new and working fine. Looks recently renovated. Run by a friendly, efficient Indian family. I did not see distressed longterm inhabitants or other signs of urban crisis you sometimes see at extended stay places. There are a couple gas station convenience stores on the same block and the hotel is in the middle of the best Asian restaurants possibly in all of North America.

    Terrible my daughter and my son have been exposed to a biological risk because they found a syringe with blood, because the hotel did not clean the room properly. I have had to go to the county hospital and my children are currently undergoing treatment to prevent the spread of AIDS! I am requesting the refund of the money and I am evaluating legal actions for the possible health and psychological damage

    The second time we stayed at this hotel. The location is convenient and the breakfast selections is good. Easily accessible from the highway. Target is nearby and many food places surrounding the area. The room super clean and tea and coffee machine provided in the room. There is a microwave too.

    Not in this trip but on prior trip I have seen cockroach in the hallway and in our room and I have pictures of the cockroaches. And the hotel did nothing or showed that they cared at all. Recieved call from corporate but they just lied and said they were going to send me a check but never did.

    It was a very nice and clean hotel. The rooms where nice and clean and I like how large the bathroom was. Just a little bit pricey though. Very close to restaurants and other shops like walking distance to these places.

    Staff gave us the room and left us to it, didn’t bother us, housekeeping was on request which we didn’t need. Room was clean and fairly large. Rosemead is a lovely place, very quiet. Still a lot of COVID measurements.

    breakfast was ok. due to the pandemic, it was served in a package. Compared to another hotel I stayed in LA it was ok because it packed something other than sweets.

    The setup inside the hotel lobby was a bit weird but still pretty cool. The room was perfect. Huge soft bed. Amazing shower. Pool was great. Balcony was lovely.
