Horizons Beach Resort, hotel in Truro

Situated 2.8 km from Truro Historical Museum, Horizons Beach Resort offers accommodation and free WiFi in North Truro. All units are air conditioned and include a seating area with a flat-screen TV.

Great hotel. There are all the necessary utensils in the kitchen, a comfortable bed, a beautiful view from the window. Clean, comfortable, can't hear the neighbors. 10 out of 10. Very convenient to get to Provincetown by bus, the stop is right next to the hotel. there is no need to look for parking in the city. And this can be very difficult! The bus runs frequently. It was very convenient. The pool was still closed but looked great. There is a small store a few minutes away. The beach is excellent, clean. The only negative is that when booking it was not indicated that the hotel is located across the road from the beach. I was hoping to be in a hotel right next to the beach. But it didn't ruin the vacation.

    Truro is so lovely.

Truro is so lovely. I like how it’s further off the grid than other parts of the Cape and less touristy. It’s got some incredible beaches along the National Seashore and a good number of them are dog friendly. Truro has some great restaurants, the winery, and the golf course too so it offers something for everyone.

We have been coming to Truro (from Germany!)

We have been coming to Truro (from Germany!) for 40 years now. Our children grew up knowing Truro as a highlight of their year. Now they have children of their own, and they still come to Truro. We have seen people, shops, and landscape changes come and go, but we always get drawn back, and our friends and relatives all agree with our choice. That little stretch of space between P-town and Wellfleet is where we want to be.

We went for mashroom picking and had a great time doing it.

We went for mashroom picking and had a great time doing it. The area is wonderful, short driving to all sites for mashroom picking, P-town, beaches with open views. We had to go to our friend's place to wash mashrooms and make dinner out of our catch there, because our place didn't have accomodation for that.

is very quiet and nice quaint.

is very quiet and nice quaint. If you are staying for a week you must purchase a beach pass for the week that allows you to visit and park on 11 beaches. I did not know that until the 3rd day in. Close to Wellfleet great restaurants and good beach is Duckharbor beach and Longnook beach. must try is pb bakery- pj icecream- moby dick for lobster roll- macs shack delicious

It was my first time staying in Truro and the reason for it...

It was my first time staying in Truro and the reason for it was its accommodations/proximity of the hostel to Provincetown which is where I spent most of my time. So I can't really speak about Truro. I will have to go back to explore it.
