I couldn't check in as the lady on reception said everything was down and pool and facilities were not available ,I left my number and she said she would ring me when everything was OK but she didn't ring and at 5pm I had to make other arrangements to find accommodation ,not happy at all 😡

An original Route 66 motel with fantastic murals and neon. The rooms are not large but very authentic. Each room has its own open garage with a table and chairs outside, so great for socialising with other guests or just sitting outside relaxing. Rob and Dawn are excellent hosts with good information about the property and the local area. Tucumcari has an abundance of Route 66 signs, neon and murals. We had an excellent relaxing stay.
