The room was recently remodeled. The kitchenette includes everything necessary except for a real range. You can see a big green mountain from the window. It's centrally located (e.g. the road to Hana is as easy to get to as southern beaches) and so is perfect for first-time visitors who are not biased towards a specific destination.

We were only on Maui for 9 hours and leaving for another island, so the location close to the airport was nice. Getting keys was easy at our late hour of arrival. Room had a coffee machine to make a couple cups of coffee, and we were on our way the next morning.

If you don’t have a rental car you can plan on lots of walking. The bus system is great, but you need to make sure you have the time to do that. There isn’t a whole lot to see where we stayed. It is in an older part of Wailuku. Definitely not a tourist town, as such.

We were only there for two days, then off to another part of Maui. The town itself did not have a lot going on, not much to see or do. The Iao State Park; however, was worth a quick visit. Very picturesque with minimal walking. Parking is limited, and $5.

The bed and sheets were clean and comfy. This place has such nice vibes and was a great place to stay. Everyone was friendly and we felt very safe staying here. My only grouse was the stairs as we had huge cargo bags but the owner was very nice to help us carry up and down the stairs! I also loved the location where food and amenities are easily accessible. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The reception desk is open 24-hours. Linens, blankets, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and soap are all provided. The location is in the centre of Maui not far from a few restaurants. The scheduled activities are a great way to meet people and are free (besides a suggested tip). The doors use codes which can prevent you from being locked out.
