We felt like in a family. Super friendly and quite.
Loved Kalk Bay. We were very pleased that we had decided to stay here rather nearer to Cape Town city centre. There were lots of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from, it is close to Boulders Beach and close to the Zandvlei parkrun, which we did on the Saturday morning. We felt very safe there.

Kalk Bay is beautiful seaside village where everyone just gets on and gets along. A lovely mix of bohemian market feel, seaside quality and amazing beaches on my favourite stretch of the greater Cape Town coast.

DIVINE!
DIVINE! Eclectic, quirky and just too much to explore with regards to the beautiful shops, galleries and restaurants in one day. A must visit place for overseas visitors to see as it is a more old side scene of Cape Town with so much more heritage than the modern Cape Town city centre and other more bustling suburbs, with its cobbled narrow streets and beautiful old buildings and homes. Let's not forget the beach or tidal pools and plenty of adventure sea opportunities literally right on your doorstep. I come form Cape Town and going to Kalk Bay always make me feels like I have gone on holiday to another city. By far one of my favourite spots in Cape Town.

Kalk Bay is a beautiful little seaside fishing village about a 45 minute drive from Cape Town. The seaside town is filled with great seafood restaurants, quirky pubs, antique shops and artisans selling their wares. The town can best be described as a village with a chilled, bohemian vibe. It's a perfect getaway to chill out and enjoy a weekend away.

Quirky and vibey little sea side village with many great places to eat, interesting shops for browsing and great beaches. The working harbour is interesting and a perfect place to buy fish straight off the boats.
Everything is close by so no need to drive around of struggle for parking.
Excellent location
Everything in Kalk Bay is in walking distance and the restaurants are excellent, not enough time to try them all
Make sure you read suggestions from Majestic and get a Kalk Bay map from reception
We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment which had everything we needed including Wifi, comfortable bed and cosy lounge
There’s a tiny heater which works very well in the cold Cape weather
Swimming pool for summer
Perfect parking
Good security
We would definitely stay at The Majestic again and highly recommend it to friends
Whalehaven is light bright, airy and very beautifully appointed with everything you need for a home away from home stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kalk Bay with everything in walking distance. A real treat is the stunning sea views from the front and the beautiful mountain views from the back. Louise was very helpful and immediately available on whatsapp when I had a question. I would highly recommend Whalehaven and would stay there again.
Amazing location a few moment walk up the hill from the main road in Kalk Bay.
Charming sheltered and sunny private courtyard; all mod cons; stylish design; super comfy bed and spacious open plan lounge and kitchen.
Daphne the host was very friendly and helpful, even providing new fresh flowers from her garden next door!
Would definitely recommend it
A real gem in the heart of the wonder-filled Kalk Bay. The ambience of this magnificent old lady is worth a visit, plan an extra day just to take it all in!! Clive could not have been a more warm, welcoming host. The scents throughout are memorable; the only thing missing from the rooftop pool was more time!
An incredible home which has been immaculately fitted, with very warm hosts who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Easy walking distance to great beaches, stores and restaurants in Kalk Bay, and excellent access to the many other attractions in the area.
Amazing location and really chilled out vibe. We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for many more. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an excellent value for money stay in the heart of Kalk Bay.
Fantastic location in beautiful Kalk Bay. Close to restaurants and shops. Garage on the property for parking a big plus. Excellent choice for self catering with plenty of space. Louise an excellent host.
This is a pleasant place to stay for a few nights to enjoy the Muizenberg & Kalk Bay Area. It is within walking distance to Kalk Bay and the price is budget friendly. The owner is very nice and welcoming.
Dragon Tree is one of the best accommodations in Kalk Bay!
Everything about the space is magical: crisp bedsheets, a private kitchenette, and a lovely shower. Loved the furniture finishes !
