We couldn't stay there at the end
We could get the keys - but no access through gate
Could not get up to our room with all our luggage
No answer from telephone numbers given
Very snotty whats app from owner regarding using the small gate - but it wouldn't be possible with 2 women of which one 72 to get through the small gate uphill with all the luggage
He/she send what's app to say they could've helped and it wasn't necessary to look for alternative sleeping place
this was after trying to get hold of them for 45 min - double payed for alternative accommodation
Not even asked if we were fine - or anything about refunding - this was just the most appalling experience on holiday
Facing the beachfront, Cape Capsules offers 3-star accommodation in Muizenberg and has a garden, shared lounge and terrace.

It was my partners birthday one of the ladies even organized a cute birthday poster on the wall, when we got there it was there and my partner loved it. We were not driving but used an uber to get to this location it is right in front of the road. We didn't even need an uber for other things the beach is right across the road, swimming pool just a few minutes away and so are the restaurants and other facilities. we had fun and still managed to take a walk at night going back to the Capsules, our room was clean they even provided a fan for extra ventilation. We hate shared bathrooms but those bathrooms changed how we look at shared bathrooms in general, they were so clean, tidy and provided all the bathroom necessities. You do pay a Cleaning fee and a deposit when you get there but that was refundable and we could still buy from their mini kitchen using the same deposit. The ladies were well mannered, provided excellent customer service. I am no swimmer but if you are looking for a reasonable place next to the beach to clear your head off this is the place.Tv room, kitchen and smoking area too it is one of those places that are small but cute and worth their price.

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go.
Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth.
A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.

Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world.
Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world. I have lived in four countries and travelled to many more. It has a charm that is unique. It’s location, how the mountain and the sea come together is stunningly beautiful. The beach has beautiful white sand. The coffee shops and restaurants are world class. The surf shops and the children learning to surf is great and special. Learning to surf will change their lives for the good. We love the Empire Cafe, Knead and many more places to eat. The old buildings that have been renovated give me great pleasure.
Highly secured building with fingerprint access, beachfront, good location to explore peninsula, comfortable beds, big kitchen that can fit a family for a dinner. Good restaurant just next to the building.
Giving the capacity (booked the cheapest option and got 2 bd with 4-5 people capacity) seems to be good value for money compare to high prices in Cape Town.
Host and front desk staff were kind enough to wait for me in the evening when I came from work. Thanks!
Beach facing room was given to me unexpectedly. nice surprise!
Lounge and bedroom were comfy resting places.
Shower, bathroom and kitchen facilities were in top shape

nice quiet areas
Wow. This is a great place situated just above Muizenberg. The owner is friendly, the house and rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast is fantastic. They were so accommodating here and went out of their way to help. Even the grueling steps up to the property felt like a nice way to get a bit of exercise
I was surfing in Muizenberg, so this location was excellent for me. I was in between some trips and was able to catch up on my washing in the laundry room that was free to use - It was exactly what I needed! My room was a self catering room and had Netflix I could watch in the evening.
Neat, clean, well looked after rooms. Great little communal kitchen that offers a selection of refreshments to purchase. I liked the little signs placed on the stairs from the parking to reach the guesthouse. Beautiful views of Muizenberg area, but be prepared to climb the stairs.
I would really recommend this place ! The owner is very friendly and the house is amazing. Clean, cozy, amazing garden, lake, even a beautiful swimmingpool in the yard and the beach of Muizenberg is just a few minutes drive of 15 min walk. We loved it, thanks a lot!
The location is excellent. The apartment is well supplied and fitted out. Everything you need is supplied - whether a long term or short term stay. Surrounded by the best breakfast and brunch restaurants and the best surf spot in Cape Town.
We liked everything about our stay at Royal at Sea. The cleanliness, our host , it was a home away from home everything we needed was in the apartment and it's close to the beach and all the eatery , A very calm and relaxing atmosphere
Nicely located in a safe and peaceful area just a couple of minutes from the beach. A very homely feel and felt well looked after by the super warm and proactive staff. Good wifi and shower. Not lacking anything. Many thanks!
Breakfast wasn't available, we had self catering option. Location was beautiful and easy to get to. Our host, Suzette, was extremely helpful and very friendly. She made us feel welcome.
Nice and cosy place near the water. Relaxing atmosphere. Not far from the Muizenberg beach and ideally located between Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope (if you have a car).
