The staff were very welcoming and very accommodating. Due to adverse weather conditions, we had to book at the last minute . We were stressed from driving hours trying to get home. Everything was perfect on arrival, nice and cosy 😊 the people in the little pub on the side of the accommodation were lovely and we had little chats about the history of the property which was really nice .

We all enjoy our stay. It was a great respite in our busy travel schedule.

Corgarff Castle is 30 km away and Leith Hall Garden & Estate is 37 km from the chalet. Had not received the correct code but was immediately fixed. We adored the little house and wood area around it. Had a lovely stay and hope to come back.

I liked the peaceful location, the cleanliness, and the facilities. We had everything that we needed, and it was a lovely upgrade from camping. Having our own bathroom and kitchen in the pod makes it convenient and comfortable compared to similar places we have stayed in the past. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ/ fire pit that has been provided for each pod.

I was able to visit Balmoral and also the Ballater train station with a replica of Queen Victoria's train carriage. I loved everything about the cottage and its location.
