We utilized the BBQ on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and it was quite nice to have. The view while grilling of the volcano was really nice. The home was clean and the kitchen and dining area was quite large. There is a washing machine that also dries the clothes which made it nice to not have to pack so much. The tub was quite sophisticated where you can set the temperature and it would automatically fill. It is good to note that the home is located in the geo park so there are no grocery stores nearby so it is good to get your BBQ supplies and food before arriving to the home.

We travelled to Kurokawa onsen Mori No Ki Ki by driving from Kumamoto, it took us about 2 hr. The staff (or the owner) was so kind and willing to facilitate and keen to support us nicely. We were so much impressed and appreciated. The house was so clean, the onsen was good. Home made bread was excellent. We suggest the visitor should come before the evening as to see the sign clearly. The sign showing the accommodation name a bit small comparing to the others, so you may miss when it is dark. The rest are excellent, if you like peace and relax with warm heart, you may like this one.

The house is stylishly furnished and has a beautiful view to the valley and the Aso mountains.

What a delight to stay at this beautiful Japanese style house with an abundance of amazing paintings by the owner. Spacious, cozy and functional rooms as well as the most kind and welcoming host. We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a great Japanese experience that really stands out. We would love to come back some time.

Minshuku Hiro - Vacation STAY 84405v ligger i Kami Amakusa. På boendet finns gratis WiFi och privat parkering på plats. It’s very spacious. You can see the bay while taking a shower. The living room is connected to the restaurant. The restaurant is usually not very busy, but if the noise bothers you, you can go upstairs. We stayed in the living room since it didn’t bother us at all. The owners are extremely nice. They actually took our son on a fishing trip on their boat and cooked the fish our son caught. The last night of our stay, we did fireworks with the owners and neighbors kids. It was so much fun. This place reminds me of Minshuku I used to stay with my parents. We fully enjoyed our stay there.
