Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. We stayed in the bungalow. It is huge and very comfortable. The pool is awesome. View from the water tower at Sunset was beautiful. BBQ night was very special in the yard with torches and a bonfire. Madu, his father and The team was extraordinary. Taking the kids fiddling in the pond, collecting chicken eggs and took us for a boat ride in Tissu lake for afternoon bird watching. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Situated in Tissamaharama, Richards Cabanas is located amidst calming greenery and peaceful natural surroundings. It features an outdoor swimming pool and provides complimentary parking and free WiFi.... Such a pleasure to stay here! Clean room, beautiful serene pool area and garden. Food was great (We had curry both evenings) and the breakfast even greater, still craving the porridge! Safari and ride to our next accomodation was set up with no problems. Perfect place for a (safari-) getaway, don’t expect too much hassle, restaurants or shops nearby (a few km drive to a supermarket and fridge in room so you’ll probably have everything you need by the hand still.) If in Sri Lanka, I want to come back for a longer time to just soake in the calmness!

This place has one of the most stunning views we've seen while staying in Sri Lanka! It was so peaceful just sitting on our balcony watching the animals walk and fly by. The two guys taking care of the place were very professional, friendly and accomadating. The included breakfast was amazing too! Definitely worth staying here!

Wonderful location with much greenery around the property and a small store nearby for snacks drinks and other little bits. We had a great stay with Udara and his family being so hospitable and even decorating the place for our son's birthday and helping us find a cake. The hosts prepared us an amazing dinner, actually it was one of our highlight meals for our trip! Breakfast was nicely packed for us for our safari. We loved this place and would absolutely stay again.

A monkey even came to visit on the balcony. What an experience!

From arranging tuk tuk to organising Safari with take away breakfast (thank you)! The place they have is a real oasis among those we visited so far, hidden away, quiet, calm and perfect to relax and rest after visiting Yala park. Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Located in Tissamaharama, this villa is 8 km from Tissa Wewa and a 15-20 minute drive to the Yala National Park. The villa has air conditioning and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on... Such a warm welcome in Neem tree house, the staff so nice and helpful, beautiful accomodation, food was fantastic on the BBQ. Definetly recommend.

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Extremely friendly staff (they are absolute gems!!), great concept, amazing and tasty dinner, comfortable and well maintained room
