Kapievi Ecovillage har en vegetarisk restaurang och erbjuder boende i Puerto Maldonado. Boendet ligger 15 minuters bilresa från stadens största torg. This stay felt more like spending time with family and friends than actually staying in a "hotel". The food was so delicious, all vegan and/or vegetarian. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, ALL OF THEM!! :D Free water. The room is just amazing, comfortable bed, good Wifi, nice bathroom. Loved to do my yoga sessions on the balcony with a nice nature view. Easy to organize tours through them. The pool was clean and refreshing. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoy more time here, it's wonderful. Hopefully I can come back one day! Good luck with everything and thanks for making my 5-day stay absolutely fantastic...

Comfy beds, everything clean, and the pool was very nice to cool off. Drinking coffee watching the sun rise at the balcony in the morning also was a highlight. We loved the beautiful garden with his dog, the chickens and the neighbor cat. Elmer and his family are so friendly, and they are willing to help with anything. He even arranged and gave us a Lago Yacumama tour, and we had a campfire our last night. It is a small drive from the city (we had a car), but Tuktuks regularly pass by and there are taxi's. I hope I get the chance to come back in the future!

Delicious and fulfilling breakfast too. Eduardo will be happy to help you arrange tours. The distance from Puerto Maldonado is perfect so that you can experience the true jungle feeling, specially at night, but still doesn't feel too remote. Tuktuk can be arranged for a modest 15soles, very worth it. Also, if you are interested in a ceremony, Alberto is your go-to guy. Highly recommended!
