The property was set in a pretty rural location! Very quiet and out of the way. Breakfast was good! The freshly squeezed orange juice was memorable. The owner and daughter in law were lovely and so helpful.

This gorgeous retreat has an incredible ambiance and my room was exquisite with a floor-to-ceiling glass alcove and comfy chairs. I propped my feet up after a long day on the trail and simply enjoyed my spectacular view. The lounge areas are also quite lovely and well appointed. Dinner here was a real treat—fabulous! And breakfast was also incredible. With meals like these, I know I’ll arrive in Santiago much larger than when I began my walk! Such a gorgeous place. It is NOT, in fact, in Luarca—it’s nine miles from city center and, in fact, very close to Cadavedo and not far off the Camino trail.
Featuring private furnished terraces and free Wi-Fi, the modern apartments at Apartamentos Casa Carin are located Villademoros-Cadavedo, 0.9 mi from the Asturian coast, and just off the A-8 Motorway.

amazing owner - I had no food but out of the kindness of his heart he got me pasta, tuna, beer, tomato sauce and bread to make my own dinner. Great spot!

This is a two-bedroom apartment with a washing machine. And it is right on the Camino. Very contemporary and just fabulous.. There are actually two apartments—one facing the road and the other with a side entrance. Both fairly identical. The owner greeted me with a beer—and got the washing machine all ready for my laundry. She had a drying rack set up outside for my wet clothes. And she encouraged me to head out to the Ermita de la Regalina—offered me a bike to use (but I chose to walk—easy without the pack on). Not to be missed! As that was the MOST scenic of all the views so far on the Camino Norte! So glad she pushed me to walk out there. I’m very thankful I did. The fully-equipped kitchen was enticing but, rather than cook, I wandered just down the street and had dinner at a local restaurant. The owners are too kind and thoughtful and I’m so glad I stayed here. Extravagant for just one person—would be quite lovely for a couple and a true price performer for 2 couples!!
