It’s right next to the JR Station which is very convenient, and there is a Seven Eleven in the station which really helps when you need a quick bite or drink. The hotel is within walking distance to the Aeon Mall, various restaurants and bars (surprisingly), and of course komboni are all over the place. The public bathroom didn't look as fancy as the picture on the website, but it was still good. It opens from 6am, so you can start a day with a nice bath. Breakfast was good too. The hotel location is close to Obihiro Station and the famous bakery, Rokkatei.
