Pool was great, it was heated, so we could come back from the beach and continue the fun. Easily walkable to the beach. Rooms were well equipped with a fairly full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was well designed. Staff went out of their way to reunite a lost bag with my 10 year old, so extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely staff. Even a secondhand bookshop, where you could swap a book.

Front desk personnel where very help and professiobal.
I liked the less crowded beach. The sand was white and clean. The weather was perfect for our stay from 5/21/24-5/25/24. The water was warm to swim and relax on the beach. We could walk happily from one side to the other side on the beach in the water. There is a $12 fee to park the car on the beach which can be paid at the city hall or at the souvenir stores not at the beach. Wish there was a ticket kiosk or vending machine for convenience but not bad to go the store.

Port A is one of my favorite beaches.
Port A is one of my favorite beaches. I was raised near Galveston beach and I would pick Port A over that beach anyday. Galveston beach is great, but conjested. In Port A there is a sense of community, even for visitors. They welcome into every type of restaurant from McDonald to top dollar steak and fresh seafood. It is a family friendly environment for sure. Please parents, control your kids in restaurants. We do not think they are as cute as you think. (My pet peave.) Golf (beach) Cart rentals are a must! Park your car and forget about it. Really unwind and enjoy yourself. If you want family, romance, sports, culture, music, or art, it's there. Souvenior Shops are a variety of great items to take home to your friends or a special person. JUST GO!

Port Aransas has been a mini getaway or short vacation for as long as I can remember. My parents brought me here, we would bring our children here, and now our children bring out grandchildren here. We never get bored or tired of Port Aransas. We love small town life and everything from hotels, to restaurants to short drives to find the perfect sunset are always great.

Very touristy town but lots of things to do and you can stay right on the beach or in any number of rentals near the beach or farther in town. The food can be a little pricey but the restaurants we visited were VERY good for the price. We went fishing but didn’t catch anything. 😥 But I will go again. The price was VERY good (March) for this time of year and the weather was breezy and cool. We could see and hear the ocean from our 2nd floor condo.

My family and I have been going to Port Aransas for many years now...especially during thanksgiving week/weekend. After cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for 20+ years, one year my wife and I decided to do like the movie Christmas with the Kranks and, rather than stay home for the usual Thanksgiving dinner, we decided to start enjoying thanksgiving on the coast. So, with all the kids and grandkids and other family, the first year we literally had hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire on the beach for our thanksgiving meal. Other years we have ate out at the many restaurants, or heated up a pre-cooked HEB dinner in our hotel rooms, or had something cooked and picked up from a local restaurant like Macdaddy's (yum!). We try to have a different type of Thanksgiving dinner each year. Since then, it has become a holiday tradition for the whole family to meet down there and have fun... and each year bringing more family members who heard how much fun it was from others.

Miles of beach access, great places to stay, various fishing opportunities; be it deep sea, bay, pier, jetty, surf, etc. Easy access to Corpus Christi if wanted/needed. I've been coming to Port-A for 56 years, starting when it was nothing more than a sleepy little fishing town.
We usually stay at the Hilton Gardens, Holiday Inn, and the Marriott, so this place, being much older, had its very own personal touch. It was welcoming. This place was very clean. We were a group of 3 couples. All of our rooms were spotless clean, with seating outside. It had 2 rocking chairs and a small table to drink our coffee in the morning and late evenings. It was so quiet. It has a very nice heated pool. It was perfect for what we went for and that was the beach.
Modern well priced hotel with all the amenities needed. Good location near ferry and walkable to restaurants and bars. Room was exceptionally spacious and had mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, lots of storage, comfortable bed and pillows. There is an open common area to visit with a snack/breakfast bar.
Checkin and Checkout were efficient and friendly.
Guest laundry is much appreciated as well.
Accommodations made in direct accordance for visitors obviously, however this specific hotel staff was very friendly and seemed to have “love” for their visitors. Rooms were clean and comfy. Cool little pool/hot tub area. Great for an easy day with kids if you dont want to be on the beach.
Very clean and the staff was amazing! They were all hard working and friendly. Pet friendly and had plenty of butt buckets around for smokers. There was not a minute that the workers were not cleaning or taking trash to the dumpster. For the price it was awesome!
Great location, close to the beach and lots of
restaurants. It was easy to get to, clean, and
comfortable. The staff was friendly and
accommodating. Didn’t get to try the pool or
breakfast. Nothing fancy, but this hotel was perfect for
a nice little beach trip.
The Room was very large and very comfortable for the price. The Beds are a little dated, but for the weekend and so close to the beach it was not a big deal. The Kitchen was very nice and everything was clean.
