The resort is secluded, with no adjacent resorts on the south side. The bay is perfect for snorkeling with kids, with no big waves and direct entrance to sea (unlike jetties used for some other resorts). Although most of the corals are bleached, still you find a huge variety of fishes (big and small). Also, the resort is not super big (like a small city), which i like. The whole staff is kind and very helpful. There are enough pools for kids to have fun (water slides, etc). The resort is clean and the staff takes a lot of efforts to keep it very clean and tidy. We did a lot of activities without leaving the resort - Massage on the beach, Parasailing (adjacent beach), Quad bike ride (adjacent desert), Wind surfing (same beach). Being vegetarians, food options was a challenge for lunch and dinner, but we always found good options. Most importantly, we had no stomach issues throughout our stay! (this was the biggest worry). The outside grill and fresh bread/pizza counter was amazing!

Sunrise Tucana Resort - Grand Select- er staðsett í Hurghada og býður upp á fyrsta flokks „allt innifalið“. Gististaðurinn er 27 km frá New Marina og 28 km frá Giftun Island. Everything was great: food, quality, people (especially Isaach that was amazing and all the guys that work there), location, beach everything! In particular the location was great and also the beach (it is easy to access the sea and the beach is not rocky). I loved this place and I recommend it to everyone (couples and families)

Situated in Hurghada, 1.5 km from Fort Arabesque Beach, The Makadi Spa Hotel - Couples Only 18 Years Plus features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a... Very nice and cosy hotel on the beach with lot of equipment in the resort, atm, souvenir and clothes shops, pharmacy, gym, tennis courts etc. The food was fantastic, you can choose from many restaurants that are included in All Inclusive (world, oriental, italian etc.) The hotel staff managed for us 1 day private trip to Luxor for 300EUR that included private cruise on the Nile river, lunch and tickets to many of the ancient palace complexes and the thombs. The Luxor trip was so amazing and absolutely highlight of our short trip to Egypt. Also want to recommend our favorite bartender Mr. Aladin from the main bar in the hotel lobby and his great cocktail skills and his friendly and warm attitude towards the guests, he made our evenings in the hotel very special.

Just 400 metres from the beach, Jaz Makadi Saraya offers rooms with a private furnished balcony. It features outdoor heated pools. Simply perfect in everything, food, cleanliness, staff friendly, and specially reception staff extremely helpful and friendly (Mohamed mansoura and Mr. Tal'at). Definitely will repeat it again and would recommend it to everyone.

Situated on a private beach, Serenity Beach Resort is a Moroccan-style resort 38 km south of Hurghada. It offers 5-star accommodation with Red Sea views with 5 swimming pools and 3 restaurants. Everything went as great as possible. The front desk manager Mohamed Sobhi was very helpful and attended our every needs without hesitation. The staff is lovely and courteous. Service above and beyond.

This village-style resort, built in the Nubian Style, is located in Madinat Makadi. Hotel is second line with large private sandy beach with reef for snorkeling or diving. Fantastic staff which were super friendly and helpful. Beach with amenities was just a couple of mins walk away. Food at the rasturant was great, different meals with range of local and international meals. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Plenty of things to do around the resort such as billiards, table tennis, the pool, as well as a shuttle to the (free) water park which was fantastic.
