On the banks of the River Irwell, the award-winning Lowry has rooms with views, a riverside restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is also available. Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.

With free Wi-Fi and a stylish restaurant, Holiday Inn Manchester-Mediacityuk is just 10 minutes’ drive from Manchester centre. BBC Manchester is a 1-minute walk away. The team were super helpful and the location was ideal as we were going to watch a game at Old Trafford.

With free parking and free Wi-Fi, Holiday Inn Manchester West is just a 5-minute drive from the MEN Arena and Manchester’s city centre. The hotel was very clean. Friendly staff reception, restaurant and even the house keeping. Breakfast was also very good. Highly Recommended.

The Hello Hotel is 8 km from Manchester city centre, with 2 nearby train stations and free parking. Each room comes with free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Breakfast delivered every morning free. Large enough, god view. Comfortable bed. Alberts restaurant had great meals.

This modern hotel is just off the M60 motorway, 10 miles from Manchester city centre. It has free secure parking and good family facilities. Room was big, the beds comfortable and everything was clean. If you go by car the parking is included. The property is surrounded by nature and in a short walk we had a couple of restaurants. The brunch in The Delph was very good. The water dispenser in the corridor was very convenient for us. The playground outside was fun for the kids. The staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed dinner one night there and was very good.

Overlooking Salford Quays, AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester Salford Quays, A Marriott Lifestyle hotel is just 1 mile from the recently developed Media City UK. It was clean and very comfortable, and a great location. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Will definitely stay at AC Marriott in Salford Quays again.

Located in Manchester, within 2.3 km of Chetham's Library and 2.5 km of Manchester Arena, Albert View Rooms provides a garden. I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.

The Ainscow Hotel is set next to Salford Central Railway Station and just 10 minutes’ walk from Manchester’s lively centre and the trendy Northern Quarter. The breakfast was superb! Staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was lovely, big and had a very modern bathroom!
