For dinner we were dining at the Indonesian Restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, maybe not rice with every dish as an option but it is common in Indonesia and important for your daily activities. The bar was brilliant, and the staff everywhere super friendly and helpful! Special shoutout to the bartender with the Glasses wearing the suspenders, he was super super kind we had great conversations and he even would have given me a recipe for the traditional tea in Java and spices for it, but I was unfortunately falling ill the last night and felt sorry to not being able to say goodbye as I only seldom see such kindness of people like here in Indonesia. Please hotel greet him from my end and thank him for everything.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. From the staff to the location to the decorations of the building, it's just perfect. Plus, it's just a 5 minute walk to the Malioboro Mall and yet it's secluded enough to not be noisy. There are local restaurants outside which is very cheap. Also the breakfast buffet is amazing. The female staff helped took pictures of me in the lobby because I was traveling alone and didn't have help. I also borrowed umbrella from them during my Borobodur tour because it was hot. And the rooftop swimming pool is a must to try after your city exploration. I highly recommend this hotel.
