From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

Just in front of Itaewon Subway Station (Line 6), Hamilton Hotel offers modern rooms with free internet in Seoul's Itaewon District. It has a rooftop pool which only runs for summer and a large sauna.... Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Nice and helpful staff.

Making no compromises to style and comfort, Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel offers ultra-modern rooms with free WiFi. Very cool and well decorated especially for the price. staff spoke sufficient English.

Itaewon A One Hotel se nachází v Soulu a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Myeongdong stanice metra se nachází 3,8 km od ubytování. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is really good, close to the subway, bars, proximity store, lots of local and international food nearby. There is a few steps to access the hotel but everywhere is the same in Itaewon.

Tento hostel se nachází na ideálním místě v oblasti Yongsan-gu. perfect place, super friendly staff, only drawback is that on saturday night the nearby club is playing music until 4 am and its loud...but great location and good value for money. Definitely would stay there again. Staff was very sweet

G Guesthouse Itaewon se nachází jen 1 minutu chůze od stanice metra Itaewon (linka 6) a 15 minut jízdy od nádraží Soul. Nabízí střešní zahradu s grilem a výhledem na věž N Seoul Tower. Shrek the owner is the kindest and has the best tips. The hostel has a vibrant and social energy without being an intense party hostel, it is perfect to meet fellow travellers and discover Seoul in the nicest way!

Good Stay Itaewon se nachází v Soulu a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi. National Museum of Korea se nachází 3,7 km daleko a Myeongdong stanice metra 3,9 km. Seoul vlaková stanice se nachází 4,1 km od... The owner was very nice and helpful. It's placed in a great location. Up the hill is a party street and down the hill you have a big nice convenience store and a 7/11 down the way with an ATM for currency.
