I just want to stress again how incredible the staff were - great customer service is no longer guaranteed everywhere in Bangkok and the tram here was incredible.

I like it that it's easy to go to and it's close to many things -- big malls, a few tourist places, trains, etc. The staff are courteous, friendly and accommodating. I specifically picked this place because I want to feel that I am in Thailand when I am in it instead of feeling like I'm any random, modern hotel. We especially liked the breakfast and the mango sticky rice they gave us in one afternoon. Most of all, I liked the personal touch and the other small things they did to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
