Family Room was huge with 2 queen-sized beds. Water pressure and temperature of the shower are excellent. The first floor rooms beside the lobby had a sense of privacy because there were only 4 rooms there. We also had 2 tables with many chairs that acted like our own dining area.

Location was perfect as it was accessible from Beimen Station and Taipei Main Station (where you can ride a train to the airport). There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and a mile-long underground mall a block away. The room was comfortable and always kept clean, plus they always provided complimentary water and tea. Staff were also very helpful and friendly :)

The Night market just down the street great food and the room was quiet. It was not noisy from the market. Very clean and nice size room. Also they have laundry free tonuse and supply detergent. Great spot

This hotel is the best for travellers looking to stay around Taipei station, it’s a very quick walk to the station. I also believe price/quality of this hotel is the best around the area, if you’re looking for something not expensive, but with a private bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly about holding luggage etc, highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable. We got a nice room with good matresses, water bottles everyday, good internet... The facilities were great, and it was calm. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Lots of locals food options for their breakfast (few western food option) This is right next to the night market, which was so convenient. Also, a walkable distance from Taipei Main Station, and other important touristic spots.

PALAIS de Chine is a Muslim-friendly and luxurious 5-star hotel located a 3-minute walk from Taipei Bus Terminal. It offers stylish accommodation with 3 dining options and a fitness centre. The location. Just a few minutes walk from Taipei station. There are underground passages from the station to the hotel via an underground shopping mall with lots of shops on the way to keep the shopaholics busy and you don't have to worry about getting wet on a rainy day or the noisy traffic. I actually like the dark interiors of this hotel. Your eyes adjust to the light (or lack of it)after a few minutes inside the hotel. I requested a room on the higher floor and got a very good room on the 12th floor with a spacious bathroom, toilet, and a big bathtub. Very nice panoramas of Taipei from my room even though my room was not in the center of the hotel. The breakfast spread was terrific with a lot of options to choose from. In fact, I skipped lunch after a heavy breakfast on every day of my stay.

Got upgraded to a triple room from twin room and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The building facade is historical, looks beautiful and full of character. Location: Bus stop right in front of hotel, Daqiaotou MRT within 5 mins walk, Ningxia night market, Dihua Street and the Dadaocheng Cisheng Temple food street all within walking distance. Very convenient to go to Ximen or Taipei Station via bus or MRT. Carrefour just across the street. So convenient! Really love the location of the hotel in this part of town as opposed to the busier Ximen area. Room: Clean and comfortable beds, soft, fluffy pillows. Good view from the window. Spacious toilet with bathtub and a separate enclosed shower area. Japanese style toilet seat was really a welcomed addition. Although the room was facing the main road, the sound insulation was fairly good and we had good sleep every night. Breakfast was slightly repetitive but it was delicious and we were never tired of it. Carpet could be cleaner but slippers were provided.
