From start to finish this holiday was great, the owners were really helpful before we arrived, they were there to meet us, lovely peaceful tranquil break. The beds were so warm during the night and it was great to have your own washing and toilet facilities. We really enjoyed our stay in the Suffolk shepherd hut. The location is outstanding situated just outside of York within a short drive to the shuttle bus service into York city centre. The hut itself is very well equipped essentially everything you could possibly need for a long weekend utensils for preparing meals etc.. The overall feel of the place is amazing. The BBQ outside which doubles up as a fire pit which we used along with the log burner are also nice additions! We also enjoyed the alpacas which were nearby in their field. The owner allowed us to go over with her to feed them. To close we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to rebooking in the not too distant future.
