Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms. Room was clean and comfortable! Location was perfect as it is right in front of the late. Would definitely return again

The showers were the best I had in all of NZ. Staff is helpful. Garbage and recycling on site. Enormous kitchens, dining tables indoors and out. Really great holiday park
