A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. The tents are kept clean and comfortable. They made efforts to decorate the interior well. The partially en suite bathroom is really clean and gives off a hotel vibe eventhough it is in the desert. It is a distance from the main road, but still accessible. Dinner was absolutely fabulous. Enjoyed the activities by the guides too. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Truly enjoyed my stay there.

I think Said (the host) is one of the friendliest Omani I met during my trip. He is so kind and generous. It wasn't a busy day and I was the only guest that day, but we drove around in the dessert, meet some local Bedouin people and had a great BBQ and at the end of the day we shut down all the lights in the camp and looked at the stars. Had a wondefull time!
