In Town Guesthouse was one of the best locations in Shkodra. Everything was nearby, 5-10 min by foot. The owners of the house were the sweetest couple, they suggested what to see in Shkodra and recommended us the best places to eat and drink. We loved the backyard and their cute cat. This was one of my favourite Bed & Breakfast experiences ever! 1) It feels like visiting a relative that lives far away. You go down the narrow street and the owner already waves at you with a bright smile. She greets you so warmly that you immediately feel home, even though you don’t understand Albanian and she doesn’t speak English. But thanks to Google-Translate it is not a problem. 2) The House is very new, but they managed to completely preserve the wooden village Charme. The beds are super cozy and comfortable. When you look out of the window you immediately see the beautiful garden and the mountains. 3) The breakfast is unbelievable! She makes pancakes, bread and jam herself. You can sit in the garden and and just enjoy the food and the view. 4) Theth is an amazing place that is still very authentic with untouched nature surrounding it. So go there as soon as you can. I had the feeling that it will change soon, since there is a lot of construction going on.
