The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in El Zaino. The staff, travellers and the place had such a beautiful vibe. I loved it there, one of my most memorable and beautiful experiences in Colombia. Also, the food was amazing!

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. This finca is very nice. It’s in the middle of the forest. We stayed there two nights and they even cleaned the room. When we arrived late in the night the waited for us and brought us from Tayrona Square to the Finca. It’s a 15 minutes walk but very nice for a true experience in the nature. Food was good and in the finca the yard is awesome, spectacular plants and such a lovely cat, Musly. Staff is awesome, many thanks to Ruth for food and nice company!

Origen Hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in El Zaino. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 48 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. One of my all time favorite places to stay. Will, Sami, the chefs and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to create a great chill, social space, with great food. The grounds and gardens are so well kept. Highly recommend!

Located in Guachaca, 15 minutes from Tayrona Park, Bohemia Beach offers accommodation, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. There is free WiFi. Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!

Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke offers accommodation in Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You can play table tennis at this hostel. Everything was great. The tent is spacious and clean and very comfortable. The beach is beautiful (but not good for swimming) and you have your own bathroom, porch with chairs and two beach chairs and sun umbrella only for you at the beach. Towels and soap are also provided. The staff is very friendly and the meals are great.

Posada Ecoturistica Palmares Del Rio is located in Guachaca, 41 km from Santa Marta and 38 km from Taganga. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Good place to chill and be close to the nature. The owner is so sweet. The food there is amazing, cooked with love and care like from grandmother. All rooms have a place to work and nice views. Also we enjoyed the river so much! And waterfalls in neighborhood. We could also make a laundry. We extended our stay because it was so good. Highly recommend. Place with a people with beautiful hearts. 😊👌✨

Set in Buritaca, La Ponderosa Reserve features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi. The hostel has a private beach area. A vegetarian breakfast is available every morning at the hostel. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Isolated paradise up in the mountains, definitely worth the 40 minutes Moto taxi. The fact it's a sustainable, zero waste, permaculture project makes your stay so much more meaningful. The communal meals have a great vibe and the food it's is absolutely incredible. Beautiful little river beach and so many adorable animals - dogs, cats, pigs, Barbara the goat. Good activities to do as well: tubing, permaculture tour, trip to indigenous village. Other guests were so lovely as the place attracts great people. I kept extending my stay and ended up there for ten days. 10/10 would recommend.

Located in El Zaino, 47 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Sierra Tayrona hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location was amazing. Next to the river & wildlife. The hut slept really good. Great mosquito protection. Great bed. Its almost you sleep outside but you got enough privacy. Simba the cat and Gardian the dog were really cute and the owner can cook very well. The keyword is tranquillo. Don’t expect much, expect nature and a really great night rest. Even if you love luxurious places you can love this place (ill do). We extended our stay for another day only to relax in the hostel and swim in the river. We used the jacuzzi. In the night you hear crickets and frogs singing and the sound of the river and sometimes you hear monkeys. It’s awesome. If you gonna eat. Don’t go to tiki hut as the pizza’s made us sick.
