Rooms are great, recently refurbished they are very well designed and decorated in a modern style taking advantage of the high ceilings of a classic house. Bed was really really comfortable. Good selection of complementary snacks in reception. The Manager, Skye went above and beyond helping me with a trip, using her local knowledge and contacts to make it happen!

Rooms are well appointed with coffee. tea and refrigerator. Room size is larger than comparable hotel rooms. Breakfast is good. Room service is great. You can make a coffee or tea in the cafeteria till 10 pm and grab homemade cookies at the reception area. It's within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, restaurants, boating and a ferry to Nova Scotia.

The innkeeper Chris has become a friend for life, such a gentleman and someone who very much cares to ensure you have the best experience possible. The whole stay was just simply wonderful, this has the wow factor! The breakfast and refreshments later in the day, were simply gorgeous, a talented and amazing chef! I really could not recommend this place highly enough, we didnt want to leave!!
