The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus. The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

The lodge offers free private parking on site. The area is popular for horse riding, snorkeling, diving and hiking. Alberto (the host) was super kind from the beginning till the end. The place was super relaxing and the breakfast Alberto served was delicious. Alberto even exchanged us US dollars to colones at a very good rate (the best we found). Definitely recommend this place. You'll enjoy it.
